Without a doubt the BEST lobster rolls we’ve ever had. You’re offered a choice of rolls made with mayo or hot butter. We chose the latter. They add just a little seasoning to the hot butter and it complements the fresh lobster beautifully! A lobster roll with flavor! A revelation! Excellent quality fresh seafood as well in a spotless market. Clam chowder and Portuguese kale soup were also outstanding. The woman working the counter was a gem 🙂. Excellent!
I visited the market for the first time this week. The first thing I noticed was how spotlessly clean everything was and there was no fishy odor. The service was great, as was the lobster roll but the clam chowder was delicious. Loaded with: clams and potato and the broth was a beautiful consistency, not thick or gloopy and not too thin. It had a nice body and to steal a quote from some one else “it was kissed by the sea. Great clam taste and not salty or overwhelming....
When traveling to the Cape/Provincetown this past weekend we decided we wanted to splurge on a large lobster! We stopped and places our order for a 4 pound lobster and a pint of New England clam chowder. When we got our order back to our room and removed the lobster from the bag it was HUGE!!! Turns out it was 4.5 pounds and the claws alone was a great meal!! It was a great meal and the customer service was great also! Next time we are in the area we will call and get another...
