After 2 years I finally made it back to dine here. I have so many great memories here. Sadly, that's where it ends. Something with the food is tragicly different. Veal marsala was so bitter and while the veal was super tender, the sauce was it's literal bitter downfall! The insalata mista was doused with so much dressing the mixed greens and spinach stuck together. The balance of flavor they once had fine tuned, was gone. The red sauce was more like a salsa than a red sauce. Everything changes! My server couldn't have been more lovely but the point was moot. Nothing would have made this better.

Nice place to rest- but not to eat. It’s not really Italian food: e.g. bruschetta is nothing what is black-burned in oven and rosted with cheese… it’s a wonderful fresh and light thing with Tomato, herbs and a little good oil.Italia is far away …

Best Italian food I have ever had. Truly a special place in my heart. Since my first vacation as a kid in Province town. Ive been visiting this institution with my family who has been going there since the 70's. I just watched Anthony Bourdain's episode on Provincetown in his first TV series back in 2001. Wow what nostalgia. Please don't evet change Ciro & Sals. Cent'anni ❤️

This restaurant boasts many years of history and receives high local acclaim, evident from the bustling crowd. We ordered some common Italian dishes, and they all tasted delicious. Additionally, the restaurant's decor is stylish and romantic, making it a fitting choice for a meal after exploring Provincetown and concluding a day's journey.

I surprised my husband with an early birthday dinner at this amazing restaurant. I truly have to say that the service was top notch. They went above and beyond to make sure he had a wonderful experience. I sent decorations and they decorated the table, had flowers, and also chilled champagne. It was such a romantic evening. My husband couldn't stop talking about the linguini and clams and the dessert. This is an absolute must in Ptown. Thank you Zack and Team for being so flipping awesome. We can't wait to come back.

My wife planned a birthday dinner for me and the staff went simply above and beyond to provide something special. Amazing service and the best food. If you like linguine and clams, theirs is just amazing!

In December, 2022 we had the most incredible meal and service at Ciro & Sal's. Everything was perfect-food, mood and service. It was a meal that my husband and I talked about for a year. So when we went this December, 2023 we were so disappointed. Pasta was not cooked all the way, everything was over salted, did not get heirloom tomatoes instead got hot house tomatoes for the heirloom tomato-mozzarella salad. (I am a personal chef & my husband is in produce so we know our tomatoes). The fried oysters were so deep fried all you tasted was the breading. Last year they were like little puffs of clouds in your mouth. We were really disappointed. Not sure if the chef or kitchen staff has changed but I hope they get it together.

We had a wonderful experience last evening at Ciro and Sal's. It was pleasant to rediscover a very unique spot in our small town. We were transported to a cozy warm Italian wine cellar with a fire and soft lighting. The appetizers were excellent as was the main course. Service was excellent. The whole staff was very friendly and relaxed, but efficient.

Had the Carbonara. Excellent. The fireside seats are the most coveted. If you're looking for atmosphere, this is the place and the food is excellent. This is where Anthony Bourdain got his start as a

We had a lovely meal there with the veal meatballs. Good portion sizes, very friendly waitress and very fast service!Just a tip - the restaurant is located in the alley behind the art gallery, but don’t make the mistake I did and think there is parking down there, it is a very tight gravel driveway only for private parking for people’s homes. You can parallel park on the main road in the evening. All in all would recommend, lovely atmosphere and real log burning fire was great to see.Parking: Just a tip - the restaurant is located in the alley behind the art gallery, but don’t make the mistake I did and think there is parking down there, it is a very tight gravel driveway only for private parking for people’s homes.
