super cozy spot in Provincetown. fairly traditional Italian-American "red gravy" cuisine, wide selection on the menu. dishes aren't bursting with flavor but they're thoughtfully-prepared and large portions. good cocktails and service.
Overall was a very good meal at the bar. We enjoy that area as it gives a whole different feel and provides a bit more room. Our meals were very good and we enjoyed everything. Will be back in the future!
This seems to be a restaurant that's frozen in time. A dark subterranean dining room is full of wood panelling and old-fashioned decor, with a loop of stereotypical Italian music of all genres playing (Dean Martin singing "That's Amore'", the Godfather movie theme, and Pavarotti were all heard). The lighting is generally dim, and the clientele is generally "of a certain age". None of this is bad, as I love certain restaurants that feel nostalgic...
