George's Pizza Reviews
Took over 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches, 2 calzones and 1 gyro.
Their reason…”staff shortage.”
I can see time for the calzones!!! But the sandwiches and Gyro should have been just a few minutes.
Love George’s! A classic in the heart of Provincetown!
Very nice place! Would come here again every year!

George's Pizza is a popular spot among both visitors and residents of P-Town. Known for its hot and tasty grinders and large portions of pizza, such as the meat lovers option, it has become a beloved local favorite. The friendly bartenders and waitstaff, including the amazing server Dakota, provide excellent service, making customers feel welcome. Dakota has been highlighted by guests for her friendliness and attentiveness, making visits memorable. The deck offers a great water view, and the atmosphere is cozy and lively, with a gritty charm that many enjoy. The seating options vary from indoors to outside under a covering or overlooking the water with umbrellas, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Though the bathroom could use some updating, the overall experience remains phenomenal, thanks to great food, friendly staff, and affordable prices. The patio outside is a favorite place for many, with some wishing for more ambiance like lights or music to enhance the water view. The pizza is highly praised, especially the fantastic Greek style New England pizza and the amazing Greek salad, which have won over customers from nearby states. The drinks are consistently good as well. The restaurant’s location next to the sandy beach makes it a perfect spot to relax and soak in the P-Town magic. Despite its need for a facelift, George's continues to be a place that many return to year after year, always rooting for its charm.
