Saki came across as. A great place to have dinner with family. They were very accommodating to give seating on a busy Sunday evening. The ambience was very nice! We are vegetarians and hence ordered vegetarian sushi, it was really tasty. The vegetarian dishes specifically drunken noodles could have been better. It was very sweet compared to some better drunken noodles I have had.
Would have given 5 stars if the waiter hadn't padded the check w/ 3 glasses of wine at the end. It wasn't a mistake. I motioned for him to come over and when getting to the table immediately says "sorry, my mistake, I'll take them right off" before I even said anything!! Shister. Food was awesome!
I love sushi. I love scallops. I went up to a bar night before last night, and AGAIN last night, because the scallop roll was the best I've ever had. Great rice. Rich scallops baked on top. Man, delicious. I also liked the eel roll. SO much. But this sushi, so well cooked and so fresh, redefined the idea of a scallop roll for me. I ate it two nights in a row, and if the restaurant didn't close for the season last night, I'd go back. Sushi is served both in the restaurant and upstairs...read full review
