Relish Bakery & Sandwich Shop

Stopped in after the first half of a long bike ride. Needed to reward myself with pastry. Difficult to decide what to try, but went with the Apple Crostata. It was the best I've had. Decided to grab a Ginger-Molasses cookie for the road. Another winner. Everything looked fresh and delicious. Service was great. I found a new destination stop to treat myself.

Small bakery toward the beach end of commercial Street, we stopped here every day to pick up sandwiches on our way to the beach. Delicious sandwiches, reasonable prices, and friendly staff, what more could you ask for? A few of us tried different bakery goods and those were hit or miss but everything else was great.

There’s a reason this place is always busy. They have the best sandwiches on the Cape for breakfast and lunch! And the pastries are amazing. The prices are very good for what you get and it’s a good experience.

The only downside for me is that most of the staff doesn’t speak English well (they seem to be maybe Russian?), so it’s near impossible to modify for any dietary restrictions or preferences. Granted, I just avoided items with potential to contain my restrictions when I realized this, so I’m not sure if trying harder would have produced someone with more understanding, but wanted to warn in case anyone has more serious/common allergies than mine.

They have a good variety of foods and baked goods.

Basic / okayish sandwiches, good size though. Had a cake and a cookie and both were VERY dry. Not impressed but okay if nothing else near by.
