This Fall's menu is creative and fabulously/deftly prepared. The Mews continue to WOW us.

This place was recommended to us as having vegan options, and we decided to give it a go. It's in a different location to where Google Maps says it is (which is possibly temporary?), but really glad we found it as we had a great experience! Although the vegan options were the standard curry or cauliflower steak, both were delicious. In fact, the cauliflower steak had been really well thought out and presented, and was definitely the nicest one I've had (and I've had more than a few!!). The service was wonderfully friendly and welcoming, which made it a real pleasure to dine here. We decided to extend our stay in Provincetown by an extra day, and really happy we did as we had a lovely day out in this beautiful town, and returned to The Mews for the exact same meal the following night!

We had an amazing meal delivered with exceptional service. The new chef and new menu have elevated this establishment to new heights. Our server Lessy was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. The maitre de was both friendly & accommodating, even though we were a few minutes late for our reservation. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking for an excellent meal in Provincetown.
Dietary restrictions: They offer many gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

I want to start by acknowledging that my review would probably be different if the restaurant were in its usual home rather than in a temporary location. I don't know if being in a temporary location impacted the quality of the food, but I feel certain that the atmosphere would improve.
We ate in an up-stairs patio-type room that was wrapped in plastic and fabric. I was cold the entire time. Our helpful waiter supplied me with a blanket, which helped some. There was a heater up there, but we sat directly behind it, so we received no benefit what so ever.
As far as the food went, I have little memory of what I had. It was edible, just not memorable.

Joshua, our server was polite and extremely knowledgeable regarding menu. Close quarters, definitely hard to be romantic. Food was 4/5. Reservations a must. Cannot wait to see new location.

Yesterday I went, I knew it was the place because of the notice but I didn't see any restaurants and some people passing by on the street told me that it is temporarily closed, but they don't have a notice saying that it is.
First time at the Mews (albeit the pop-up). I think it mostly lived up to the hype, though there were some things I was slightly disappointed in. We started with cocktails (a French martini and a pomegranate martini) that were FAR too sweet. In a town of so many awesome cocktails, this was not them. We also shared the lobster dumplings, which were really good though definitely hard to share given they are more like wonton soup, and the garlic breadsticks (probably my least favorite thing that we had as the breadsticks were dry and the butter did NOT go with them, in my opinion). We then each had a different entree: miso cod, shaking beef, and lobster risotto. The clear star was the risotto with tons of lobster meat. The shaking beef was also quite delicious, though I felt it had the wrong green with it and I wished the rice was stickier to absorb the sauce better. The cod was just “ok.” It was slightly overcooked and didn’t have a lot of sauce with it. Overall an uneven night, but I would be happy to go back.

We ate outdoors at this warm and inviting restaurant on a breezy September evening. When the sun went down the heaters came on, so it was perfectly comfortable. The staff were equally attentive and our waiter checked in frequently- as did other waiters who passed by our table. We ordered lobster tails- an appetizer, served cold or warm with drawn butter. They were so sweet, fresh, and perfectly cooked… we ordered another to share. The homemade garlic rolls and Caesar salad complemented a delicious early dinner. We had eaten a big lunch or we would have had more! We checked out the other seating areas- all charming, clean, and old-world New England. Go and enjoy the real deal!

This is my fourth visit to The Mews. It is in my top three P-Town restaurants. My favorite dishes are the lobster dumplings, the fried oysters and the shaking beef. The service and the food are always outstanding. This year at the pop-up location, things just all seemed to be off. The service was lacking and the food was not up to its usual standard. That being said, I trust my review will be edited to five stars next year when things are back to normal!!

"Pop up" is underselling how great this location is and how stylish and elegant the decor is. We sat at a charming table for 2 right next to a window overlooking Commercial. The service was informative, attentive and friendly. The food was superb. We had cerviche and seafood chowder as appetizers and the miso cod and shaking beef as entrees. We split everyting. Absolutely delicious. The ginger martini cocktail was a generous pour of spirits, well mixed, and so tasty. What a wonderful culinary expereince.

The food was delicious when it finally arrived. Lost drink ticket, yes. Lost kitchen ticket, yes. Sat at 7:30 and didn’t get our food until 9:30. Server seemed inexperienced. The owner finally came over to apologize. Comped us $80 and set over 2 orders of shrimp on the house. Was still $300 for 4 people and for those prices I expect better.

The service was OK - they forgot some things, mixed an order up, and kind of just left us alone for a long time.
Food was excellent, the vindaloo had a nice kick and the peach burrata is incredible!

How nice it was to be in Provincetown again. It's been a while.
On a Saturday night, we decided to sit upstairs overlooking the main road. The restaurant was packed with happiness.
We were greeted by our server Neo with a smile. We each had 2 cocktails and shared an appetizer, local oysters, and a burger. The burger was done to perfection. The cocktails were absolutely delicious.

The starters were good. But the staff are overworked and their new pop-up kitchen is too small. We had to cancel our mains order. It had been taking too long and it was going to be another 20 minutes. We would have missed our theatre show. When we did so, miraculously the food was "ready" and they brought it out. It wasn't ready. My lamb chops were rare to raw. They were supposed to be medium. We had to rush to finish. Unfortunately we won't be going back. This is a real pity because we have always loved going there in the past.

Saturday night & they are closed at 9pm? Thank goodness there’s several other options! We ended up at Pepe’s! Much better service!
