Coffee Break Cafe is a small, homie, mom-and-pop coffee shop in Quincy. The staff is friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and super polite. The iced coffee is amazing, and the homemade banana syrup is to die for. A popular drink is the caramelized, banana, mocha chip with Ghirardelli chocolate sauce, described as the best coffee ever. They also serve solid espresso, great flavored coffees, hot chocolate, bagels with cream cheese, and now matcha. The cafe has comfy chairs and a great music playlist. It feels like a true, local neighborhood coffee shop that is generous and supportive of community sports and schools. Customers praise the fast service and personable atmosphere, with one noting the two women who work weekday mornings are the best. While a large matcha at $7 was considered steep, it was delicious. This wonderful, little Quincy coffee shop is a gem for sitting down to read a book or grabbing coffee for weekend shifts.
