Fat Boy BBQ 肥仔烧腊 Reviews
This place is cramped and Only have 10 people seating capacity. The server was nice and patient. I ordered their 3 items platter for $14-15 (which is s steal) that has roasted duck, scallion oil chicken, and crispy pork. The roasted duck was sauced with their home made sauce. It was rich and savory. Skin is also crispy. Scallion chicken is perfectly poached and the scallion oil sauce is not too salty. The pork is on the meatier side, but still delicious.
Got the 3 combo over rice, and it comes with a Cantonese style chicken soup brewed extensively with tofu bamboo, chicken feet and dried baby scallops. To say this spot is good is an understatement. Flavors bring me back to childhood memories, not just pre pandemic flavors. Quincy is a hotbed of amazing authentic Cantonese eateries and this one will remain on the top of my list for the next time I visit the area.
The food at Fat Boy BBQ is absolutely delicious! I ordered a three-item rice plate, and the portion was generous enough to serve two people. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I had a great experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Fat Boy BBQ 肥仔烧腊 is a small, cozy restaurant that offers delicious Asian-inspired dishes. Despite its limited seating for about 10 people, the place is popular for its flavorful and well-prepared food. The menu features a variety of meats and rice platters, with standout items like roasted pork, BBQ pork, and scallion oil chicken leg. The roasted pork is crispy on the skin and tender inside, while the BBQ pork is soft, fresh, and served with rich, savory sauce. The scallion oil chicken leg is tender, juicy, and enhanced by the savory scallion oil. Customers also enjoy their 3 items rice platter, which offers a good value for the price, often around $14-15. The roasted duck is another highlight, with crispy skin, rich sauce, and tender meat that isn't too fatty. Pork dumplings are crispy and tasty, and the boneless spareribs are flavorful and shaped differently but very good. The dishes have authentic flavors that bring back childhood memories for many diners, with some mentioning that the marinated meats are not too salty or MSG-heavy, and the rice is fluffy. The friendly staff often provides extra sauces, bowls, and even complimentary soup. Overall, Fat Boy BBQ 肥仔烧腊 is highly recommended for those seeking tasty, affordable, and authentic Cantonese-style dishes in a small, welcoming setting.
