“We stumbled upon Half & Half while searching for a place to get breakfast and stopped in with our 2 yo. Very cute interior with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife absolutely loved her avocado toast with eggs and my breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes for our son who also chomped on my home fries and fresh fruit from my wife’s plate. The person who waited on us (the owner?) was exceptionally friendly and stopped off to talk through all of the various types of butter on the table (no, seriously, like four different kinds and all equally amazing!). We will definitely be back for lunch — and more butter.”

“Highly recommend Professor’s catering! Decided to have them make the food for a post wedding brunch I co-hosted in April. Best decision ever! Guests raved about the food! Then in June, I needed a last minute gluten free entree, and the team put together a beautifully garnished pan of gluten free roasted chicken that was delicious. Love their grab and go prepared foods case, too! 10 out of 10!”

“We were visiting from Florida and was told we had to go Regina’s pizza so we did. Well we were not satisfied. It’s was average. So we found Cal’s and gave it a try. It was literally the best pizza and wings and ice cream we’ve ever had! The people were so friendly and upbeat. The restaurant was so clean and very well managed. If I lived here this would definitely be my #1 go to restaurant. I give this a perfect 5 🤩🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟”

I was so excited that I could taste the black raspberry without any hint of almonds/sunbutter/coconut as is always the case at other places. Cal’s Creamery is the best! PS - my husband loved your baklava flavor!”

“This is a wonderful New York style pizzeria that delivery in the Reading area. Probably best NY style pizza and definitely best calzone place in this area. Wonderful, fresh and generous ingredients, terrific speedy service and always more than enough to feed any size party! This is a HUGE plus for Reading as majority of our restaurants are in that average realm.”

“We held our monthly motorcycle meeting at Bertucci’s in Reading. We have anywhere from 16-24 attendees. As always the room was set up, rolls, oil, pitchers of water and menus waiting for us. Our Waiter Steven, recognizes us by name (quite a feat since we never sit in the same seats each month). He knows who gets what for drinks. We settle in and he then takes our orders. He has a great sense of humor and there is lots of laughter. After ordering., We hold our meeting. Meeting done, food is delivered. He checks back to be sure we are all set. Boxes for leftovers are brought along with our checks. Individual checks too! Steven makes our dining at Bertuccis a fun night. Thanks Steven!”

“The chicken pie with vegetables was delicious! Large pieces of chicken. The sauce was good and the crust cooked to perfection. The apple pie, very good! Not to sweet- apples and crust cooked perfectly.”

“I was upset that my credit was charged twice when I bought a pizza. I didn't know who was to blame. I bad mouthed Pizza World and the credit card company. Eventually (4 days later) the credit card company fixed the mistake that they caused. Dennis at Pizza World tried to help, but it was David and Goliath. I am very sorry for bad mouthing Pizza world.”

“Never had anything bad. But today I had some onion rings with my yummy chicken fingers and I was shocked how delicious they were. I usually only eat two or three rings and I ate them all. So good.”

“Everything from Bagel World is exceptional. The bagels are always fresh and warm. Plenty of selection, tons of different cream cheeses.

The menu while simple, is expected for a bagel shop. Breakfast sandwhiches are good. I haven’t explored second half of the menu, but I’m sure it’s good.

The only thing lacking is a sitting space that isn’t taken up but the same regulars who have a shouting match over each other while trying to converse in a large group. It’s fun though.”

“Yesterday my fellow book club members and I shared a wonderful lunch at Fusillis. The ten of us sat a very comfortable table. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Joanne was our server and was so helpful in recommending appetizers and desserts to share. She couldn’t do enough to ensure this experience was a memorable one. We highly recommend Fusillis and Joanne!!”

“Reason for the 2 stars for atmosphere. It is very loud. There are so many hard surfaces that the sound bounces everywhere! If the owner would change out the ceiling tiles and add sound absorption panels this place would be perfect. Their food and service are stellar, but you can't hold a conversation because its too loud”

“We usually call and check to see if our favorite server Christine is working, but she had the night off. So I ask the hostess to recommend a server who was good. Well She suggested Ashley, who was absolutely amazing! Great personality, great service, never felt rushed, checked back to see how everything was !! To top it off for the very first time in all the years I have been coming here this is the very first time we had a very nice Manager come to our table and ask how everything was!!! His name was Mike. He was walking around checking with other tables, helping deliver food. I was so impressed! I have not seen a Manager who has come out to do table visits at any restaurant we have been in for years!! This guy is a keeper!! Thank you for a great night! Colleen Falzone”
