About La Abuela Carmen Products, Restaurant & Bakery

La Abuela Carmen Products, Restaurant & Bakery is a hidden gem offering authentic Italian cookies and Colombian pastries. The bakery is very extensive and features a variety of fresh baked goods. The place is clean, with courteous staff, like Valentina, who makes the experience exceptional. The owner, John, is friendly and helpful. The pizza is delicious, and they also provide made-to-order lunches and dinners. Customers praise the freshness and quality of their baked items, including flaky pastries topped with sweet brown sugary topping, ham and cheese pastries, dense yet soft rolls with mozzarella baked inside, and dense croissant-style breads that are more substantial than typical French croissants. Many mention that the baked goods are sweetened just right and perfect for any hot or cold sandwiches. However, some reviews note that the staff serving additional food can lack attitude and customer service, with one customer surprised by a waitress's attitude and lack of communication. Despite this, the bakery remains a favorite spot for delicious and authentic baked goods and pizza.

Lovely experience great choices

Staff are always friendly and prompt. Baked goods always tasty and fresh (I get arepa de choclo, quesito, pan de queso and pan de Bono here for home breakfasts). And I haven't had a meal here yet that was less than delicious. Not to mention the wild portions! Pictured is the calentado la abuela, cafe tinto (black coffee) and jugo de mora en Leche (think milkshake with blackberry/mulberry).
