Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. We thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash hummus, falafel, and cauliflower & quinoa tabouleh but the real highlight for us was the apple cider! Holy. It was the best we had on our trip around New England. Not too sweet, served nice & hot, lightly spiced and so, so good! The service was wonderful as well! “Stardust is one of those places you’re so glad you discover. The food is absolutely delicious — the Kabob Kubideh and Chicken Kabob are good, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Portions are generous, and they always go above and beyond with extras like rice, fresh bread, and even baklava on the house — such a thoughtful touch!

On top of that, the owner is one of the friendliest people you’ll meet. He makes you feel genuinely welcome, like your closest friend. It’s rare to find true hospitality at this level.

“We stopped by here on Halloween needing some fuel for our trip to Salem! It did not disappoint! We were welcomed with smiles and free falafel tasters. It was a Friday special so we had extra falafel with the falafel bowl order too. I ordered the falafel bowl, which was INCREDIBLE! My husband had another bowl which I can't remember what it was called but it had egg in it - he also enjoyed this. There is a small seating area inside and some additional seats on the street. “This was our first visit to the new Ithaki since they moved to Peabody several years ago. Early Sunday afternoon. The menu has expanded to include a larger variety of dishes (eg. Fried chicken and fish and chips) in addition to the Greek/Mediterranean items. The food was excellent. Really excellent Large portions as well. Hot bread with dip. We went for Greek "small plates". Only three small plates were a feast, along with a small greek style salad. We took half of the food home. Fresh, healthy food. Compliments to the chef and the cooks. Nice wine list, reasonably priced. A few bargains. The restaurant is very large now, informal. brightly lit. They were a little short staffed, but everything came quickly. The waiter and hostess were personable. I think half the people in the restaurant knew each other. My only problem is the parking lot. It is difficult to get back onto the highway, and the fast moving traffic can be a bit of a challenge. There may be a better way but the exit signs don't work.“

We ordered Latkes (nice and crisp, very good); chicken shawarma (delicious-- love the pickled vegetables in the pita sandwich); the lamb burger (my husband can't stop talking about how good it was); the hummus bowl, and the street cart rice bowl. In short, everything was excellent AND affordable (something that rarely happens in the Boston area these days). We will be coming back, frequently. Be advised that the setting is more like a cafeteria than a restaurant, simple and modest, where you walk up to the counter to order. They have a few drinks where you can add a shot of alcohol but that's not their focus.“

They were absolutely wonderful to work with as we figured out the menu, presentation, etc. The platters they created were so beautiful and the food was fantastic. It was all delicious but the beet hummus was especially delightful and the spanikopita is the best I've ever had! Highly recommend not only for lunch but for catering.“
