“This place is superb. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, VERY SUBSTANTIAL (one bowl will feed 3!) and a delight. The owner welcomed us with grace and kindness and told us that if it wasn't to our liking, he would make it right. We were gifted Rice Pudding (the cinnamon....oy vey!) and Baklava. Will be back every time I go to Mass General for treatment.“

“First visit today, although we live somewhat in the neighborhood and I am already kicking myself for not having got here sooner. Red tabbouleh spicing was very punchy and vivid. Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“

“This is sneaky the best place I've been in the Boston area for desserts. The first time I went I got a thin layered pistachio cake with chocolate which might be one of my favorite cakes of all time. The next time a blackberry pudding with layers of blackberries, chocolate and vanilla pudding, and a bottom layer of blackberry cake. The Turkish food we had the first time was delicious too. It's nice that it's in a sense cafeteria style so you can choose what looks good. Anyways back to the desserts. I dream of them. Every time I drive by I look longingly out the window. Seriously trust me on this one. Come for the Turkish/mexican food but please please save room for dessert.“

“Ate at the new location in Allston last night with a friend and the food there was amazing! Excellent fresh bread, lentil soup, and wrap. Service was generally good with a few hiccups.“

“After quickly sifting in and out of the other overly trendy Brookline Village restaurants the other day, we stumbled (again after 20 years) into Anatolia. Humble, unpretentious, tables filled with friends and families not glued to their phones, we were seated by a lively attentive and excellent waitress. The Anatolian red wine was excellent, the lemon rice soup a nice starter, I like the fried liver cubes (not for my non offal eating wife :/), and the the mantis- little dumplings with a lamb chunk served with yogurt utterly scrumptious. And the ground lamb kebab - it so outclasses the dry bland stuff in many Mediterranean style joints around Greater Boston. Finished with a delightfully light, flaky baklava with just a touch of sweetness and ground pistachios - a nice adult dessert finally! Not a showy place - solid home style cooking. Bring some friends and share lots of plates!“

“Absolutely incredible food and great chefs! There were 9 of us that all ordered different things and we all raved and wanted to share with each other, but our portions were all so filling. Wish we weren’t traveling because I’d want this place in my neighborhood!“

“Just ate at Ali baba and wow, it was awesome! The place has a really chill vibe and smells amazing as soon as you walk in.
We started with some French fries and pita – super tasty and fresh. The falafel was crispy and not dry at all. The chicken kebabs were on point, juicy and full of flavor.
For dessert, we had baklava, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. Sweet and flaky, just how I like it.
Service was friendly and quick, which is always a plus. Definitely planning to go back soon to try more stuff on the menu. Highly recommend if you're into Mediterranean food!“

“Didn’t know what to expect. Order the gyro plate I think. Most delicious thing I’ve had in a long time. Full place was full no gross feeling. Everything tastes super fresh and light and I just ate a whole bunch of meat. No gross meat sweats. Also idk what dessert we had it was something with some cheese inside maybe and in sugar water with ice cream on top 20/10. Get that. They recommended it, get it. They said most restaurants like have it frozen and they make it fresh. You taste the fresh from scratch. Idk was going to Shakira at TD garden this pace had tables and no line and such good food. Did not try pizza pasta or wings. But the Turkish food, never had Turkish food before but this is a food high I will look forward to. Eat here, also bf for some yogurt drink, idk he liked it. I’m not a yogurt or whatever gal. But yes, delicious.“

“I thought the Turkish coffee and tea here was quite good, and we enjoyed the baklava as well. I got an iced chocolate, which was decent.
There are several board games, including a Rummikub table (fully occupied by a group during our visit) and backgammon.
It's an interesting place, and seems like a fun place to hang out and play games.“
