Outstanding locally sourced food and innovative presentation. Beginning with focaccia and a red pepper sauce, then shrimp prepared three different ways, and an exceptional haddock entree. Not often you get great food in a tourist area, but this was exceptional. Also had a wonderful server, making for a perfect dinner. Highly recommend.
My husband and I almost went to a different restaurant, but so delighted we chose My Place By the Sea! From the friendly, knowledgeable server, to the atmosphere, to the location, and the delicious food, My Place By the Sea did not disappoint. We enjoyed it so much that we plan on making this a restaurant we visit regularly when we're in Rockport!
Food is not bad but it's definitely not worth the price--feels like family run instead of having professional cooks. Entrees needed more flavor. Service was very nice and had the perfect level of attentiveness.
