We wanted a beautiful relaxing seaside getaway and this Inn delivered. It’s close to enough to have tons to do and yet feels like you’re away from it all.
We have not been to the Inn in about ten years, before that we used to come for our anniversaries and leave our kids at home. Now that they are grown we wanted to finally bring them back with us. The new owners have maintained all of the old charm and elegance and have added their own touches to make it a wonderful oasis. Emerson Inn Parlor Bar and Restaurant is a lovely, somewhat secluded place away from the touristy hubbub. It offers a lovely and peaceful veranda or porch with a vast ocean view, perfect for a warm summer night. The food is delicious and very good, including dishes like clam chowder, pigeon cove chowder, seafood casserole, duck confit, a lobster appetizer, and sliders. The triple chocolate cake is terrific and very good. Service is wonderful, drink prices are very fair, and there is a parking lot for guests. There is only one vegan option. With a new chef and owners, it is a wonderful place for dinner or a drink.
