Notice after several bites that rice was visibly drawing. Disgusting.

Visited mid afternoon, so we were the only diners. Although 2-3 the take out orders were picked up while we were there.
We had Jollof, plantains and puff-puff. The food was tasty, albeit not as spicy as I like.

Food is mediocre at best. I ordered Jollof rice with Goat stew. Food was cooked well, just lacked seasoning/flavor. Hopefully they can work on this. Lady who collected payment looked mean and was nonchalant. Also it doesn’t smell too great in there, they should definitely work on that.

Obosa fell off...the food used to be good, maybe they have a new cook. Ordered jollof rice and spinach, my friend had the same but with fish and the fish looked nasty, not fully cooked. Idk if they thought that the tomato sauce would hide everything but it didn't! she couldn't even eat the fish. We just threw it out and ate the rice. Everything wasn't tasting as usual. The rice was too soft unlike before . Even the veggie samosa was different. I was disappointed. I was bragging about them and they did not come through. If it ain't broke don't fix it is my advice to Obosa
The eguisi soup with pounded yams, and puff puff appetizers are the pinnacle of perfect deliciousness, thanks to Gloria's masterful authentic cooking. The attentive service is appreciated.
Amazing and authentic egusi and fufu. The best I’ve had in the city.

:( I’m not sure what happened to Obosa… I’m
Nigerian so this was definitely my go-to local spot for Naija food in Boston. I ordered from here on November 15th - Meat Pie + Jollof Rice with Fish, and was extremely DISAPPOINTED with the Jollof rice which completely lacked flavored… I couldn’t even finish half of it. I hope this was just a bad day

Obosa used to be reliable, but something has changed recently. I ordered delivery two nights in a row. The first night, they forgot an item. I gave them grace, assuming it was a one-off. The second night, I specifically requested ripe, soft, sweet plantains. What I received were half-green, hard, and bland slices that looked like they were rushed through with water and oil. Not the quality I expected. Disappointed overall.

I tried the egusi, jollof rice, fried rice, peppered turkey and chicken. The egusi was top notch, the jollof rice had that 9ja party jollof vibe, the turkey was nice as well, the fried rice needs some more improvement. The food was very affordable, therefore, for the price i thought it was a good value for money.

We were a party of three, and we opted to order the appetizer platter. Unfortunately, the server let us know that they didn't have a lot of what was on it (they only had meat pies and puff puff). We all ordered jollof rice, which was incredibly flavorful. I got the moi moi, talk about insanely delicious and the fried yam. The stew that came with it for dipping was again so good. My mum had the salmon, which she said was a little on the dry side, but still had a nice flavor. My daughter had the beef and fried plantains. She said it was delicious, and I concur that it was since I took a bite. The service was so so after we got our food. It could've been because it was a Friday night, and they had a lot of take out orders. The staff was nice and welcoming, though.
I highly recommend going to eat here. The food is very authentic and so full of flavor, and you won't break the bank.
