“This was my first time eating at Minerva after hearing rave reviews from my family for months! We came for the weekend lunch buffet and it was amazing; so many options, fantastic food, and great service. This will be a regular spot for me every time I visit Boston!“

“*GREAT FOR CATERING IN BOSTON*I ordered food for a work event for 60 people.I had dined-in and took-out before at Mirchi Nation and I knew their food was good. This time, I was not only impressed with their food but also with their service. Sai helped me with all the catering. The food was delivered in a spill proof container that kept it hot until the start of event. Everything arrived on time as promised without any need for calling them again and again. Their team was on their toes.Taking about food, I placed an order for Samosas, Gulab Jamun, Gobi Manchurian, Paneer tikka masala, chicken tikka masala, Paneer Biryani, Chicken dum Biryani and Chapatis. The food tantalized everyone’s taste buds! A lot of people who were trying the Indian food for the first time, were also highly impressed. Thanks team Mirchi Nation!“

“What a gem! The flavors and spices are not like anything you will find in typical cuisines. Owner Jay had great recommendations as our party wanted to focus on unique dishes. Must order momo appetizers (dumplings) that are served with a spicy/hot sauce and a milder but equally flavorful sauce. We appreciate being treated like relatives who had come for a delicious meal. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A great value for a great meal. Highly recommend!“

“The food is just delicious and the staff is friendly and happy to have you there. Everything is so fresh and yummy. If you like Indian food at all, or want to try it for the first time - go here. They have meat dishes, vegetarian dishes and vegan dishes.“

“Good south Indian cuisine. Dosas ($10) are made in front of you and come with three sauces. Any additions, even onions, are charged at $1 for each vegetarian filling. Lots of vegetarian and some vegan options.Menu is all text. It would be nice if there were some photos to show those who are ignorant of this cuisine what chaat, gunpowder, pao, etc. are.Music was too loud. They don't offer tap water -- you have to buy bottled water, which is very annoying.“

“We came here on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad we did!! We had chicken Dhaniwal korma, lamb tikka masala, naan, and aloo naan, and mango lassis, and everything was just wonderful. Generous portions of delicious curry and fresh hot bread! The restaurant is cozy and clean, and the food came quickly. Great service, great food, we’ll definitely be coming back here!“

“It's my go-to place for Indian lunch in Lexington. The Masala is excellent and the Dal and Chickpeas are outstanding.I just had the Lamb Korma, and I despise lamb, but I completely enjoyed this dish.Vegetarian options: They clearly mark what is vegan and not. A vegetarian can easily find what is needed. They also say what is gluten free.Parking: Parking is usually not a major problem, but be prepared to spend a couple of bucks.“

“Having visited Madras Dosa Company in Cambridge multiple times, I felt compelled to share my experience. Undoubtedly, their dosa stands out as one of the best available in Boston. The coconut chutney is impeccably prepared, meeting my high standards. From vada to chaats and pav bhaji, every item I tried was exceptionally delicious. Despite their use of a machine, the coffee closely resembles a typical Madras filter coffee. The only downside is the limited seating due to the small size of the establishment, often resulting in a wait for a table. However, the presence of a nearby parking garage adds convenience. It would enhance the experience further if management could offer free parking with validation. In summary, Madras Dosa Company is a superb option for authentic South Indian cuisine, primarily focusing on dosa, idly, and chaats. Highly recommended for those yearning for genuine southern flavors.“

“It amazes me how few truly good Indian restaurants there are in Camberville. Most are a 3-star experience, aka remarkable only in how little there is to remark upon. As someone who loves good Indian cuisine and also enjoys a serious amount of heat, i have spent a good amount of time shopping the local scene. What Curry Express may lack in flare, it more than makes up for in substance. The flavors are on point, everything is consistently fresh, and they will believe you when you tell them that you want it with extra++ chilies. I only get my order delivered, so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but I have spoken to them on several occasions, and they are incredibly nice. The driver, whom I feel I should be on a first name basis with by now, is also terrific. Enjoy this hidden gem, but if you order your food extra spicy and can't handle it, dont complain and ruin it for the rest of us! ???“

“Rewriting my review because the place has changed hands and changed menus. Pleasantly surprised to see that brunch was still on the menu, and even more pleasantly surprised to see these awesome Indian brunch fusion dishes. We got the butter chicken eggs Benedict and the masala chai French toast. It was super fun and delicious, definitely considering becoming a regular. My only regret is that the portions have shrunk somewhat since the previous owners.“

“The goat was definitely the best. Butter chicken was a bit too sweet for my liking, and the oil was a bit too heavy and was pooling up. The lamb was alright tenderness, there were some pieces that were dry. I thought there was a very nice ambience and good decorations in the bathroom too which was a nice touch. Really friendly service too“

“I went for dinner last night with my friends and it was a nice cozy place, the food was good, when we asked to make it spicy they were able to do that, the drinks were good, they can improve a little bit on their service, but we had a good time hanging out, so can’t “

“Wonderful tastes, gracious hosts, and beautiful live Indian music when we were there. The menu includes many Nepalese dishes which are a particular treat. The room is unremarkable. The customers are relatively diverse and, on the weekend evenings, there are often large multi-generational families dining together.“

“Terrific food, almost everything is gluten free (!!) and very clearly marked. Also food is marked for vegan diners. Yay!We had kale pakoras (crunchy and excellent), sag paneer, chicken madras curry. Everything tasted nice and fresh and was delicious, with a nice blend of slices. However in our view everything could have used more spice (not just hot pepper… all the spices) to be more authentic.Really pleasant and accommodating staff. There are just a few tables and the seating area itself is very humble (and not air conditioned ).Enjoyed our meal. We’ll be back for sure. Definitely recommended.Vegetarian options: Vegan options clearly marked on menu.Dietary restrictions: GF and Vegan options clearly marked. Almost everything is GF.“

“It was empty on a Sunday afternoon, so we were seated right away. Our server was friendly, and the food came out in a timely manner (10-15 minutes). We ordered the tandoori chicken momo ($10.95 for 8 pieces), chicken korma ($14.95), lamb korma ($15.95), and chicken tikka masala ($15.95). The food was good overall, but the flavors were not bold enough. Even hot tasted more like mild, while mild was not spicy at all. The portions were also small for the price--the main dishes had enough sauce, but there were not that many chunks of meat. However, the chicken for my dish was tender. The tandoori momos also had a nice crispiness. I wasn't disappointed by my meal, but I would not go out of my way to come back.“

“Vaisakhi is the breath of fresh air that the restaurant scene in this little corner of Brighton and all of Cleveland Circle needs. Finally a sit down, casual Indian place that's reasonably priced and doesn't require half an hour each way on the T to get to! Even on their first day open, their food is better than several of the Indian restaurants in the Boston area that I've eaten at. Tucked away across from the Sutherland Road T stop, you can follow your nose to the doorstep of the restaurant. The interior tastefully restrained, bright colors and some simple paintings above the booths. The space is small, but not cramped and the booth seating at least was very comfortable. The three gentlemen who own/run the front of the house are eager to please. We were seated right away and given water and menus. The menu is comprehensive without being too large and confusing. The vegetarian, and meat sections are both equally sized, so there's plenty of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. My wife and I started out with the vegetable pakoras. These little fritters of batter and veggies were served hot, with a little bit of salty spice powder and dipping sauces. The crunchy shell pairs nicely with the soft veggies inside and tastes amazing when you put a bit of the red onion chutney on it. For our main course we ordered the saag paneer and the dal makhani, two of our favorite vegetarian dishes in Indian cuisine. The dal makhani was subtle, not overly spiced and not overly rich like many I've had. The lentils weren't rock hard or cooked into mush. The star of the show was definitely the saag paneer though. The saag was so wonderfully rich and smooth and spiced perfectly, and the paneer was the perfect texture, not too soft and mushy and now dry and crumbly. We decided to leave room for some desert and tried both the gulab jamun and the kheer. The kheer was a bit under seasoned for my taste, not enough rose water or cardamom and a bit on this thin side, but it served as a nice palate cleanser. The gulab jamun was excellent, the syrup not too sweet or floral and the balls had a nice subtle flavor to them as well. I'm lucky enough to live right around the corner from Vaisakhi, but I would gladly travel a lot further for this food.“

“Food was awesome. I haven’t been to many Indian places to be honest. Half dozen maybe. By far the best food I’ve had. Samosa was delicious. Goat Marsala was so creamy. Vindaloo was spicy, tasty. They even have an IPA Taj Mahal. Was light and perfect for the heat of the food.!! Staff which I believe are family was so nice.“

“Jo's is one of the best Indian restaurants around. The service was excellent and the food was superb. The restaurant has a very warm, welcoming, serene atmosphere. I love this place! I don't understand why the ratings for this restaurant is not a lot higher, it should be a lot higher. Don't be deceived by the bad ratings and reviews. I recommend giving this place a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.“

“my Bengali husband and I had an unbelievable meal delivered from WowTikka. he loves his Indian food, but finding healthier options has been tough. Nothing was sacrificed for healthy in this meal. I had the bowl full of great greens and veggies with the chicken meat balls, he had the wrap also full of veggies and tikka chicken. we both absolutely loved the lighter take, as usually we way overdo an indi meal to the point of needing an immediate nap. can't wait to take our kids and grandkids for a Sunday brunch“

“We ordered takeout from here comprising onion rava masala dosa, sindhi soya chaap biryani, and veg pakora. The place gets a four star only because of the fantastic biryani. I've never eaten the soya chaap biryani anywhere else in the US and this one was delicious with generous pieces of the chaap! Dosa was okay and the pakoras were oily and soggy. The place is reasonably priced. I've dined in at their sister restaurant veggie crust in Somerville that has good pizzas. Wood like to try some of the other items on the menu as well.“

“Tiranga is one of the few places in Quincy that is open quite late. It was poppin’ when I went on a Saturday night. I tried a mango lassi, which I have never had before. I was surprised that it was already pre-made and stored in the fridge; I was hoping it would be made to order. The price was very expensive for a drink ($8.55), but it tasted pretty good, although a bit too sweet. The mango was smooth and creamy. I wouldn’t get this again because of the price ($4-5 is more reasonable IMHO), but I would come back to try the food.“

“I ordered off of Uber Eats, so I cannot rate service or atmosphere, but this is hands down the best Indian food I've had in Boston. I'm from Seattle, so that has really affected what I anticipate Indian food to taste like. So much of what I've had here has had too much cream (and cream in dishes I wouldn't expect) and not enough spice. The food from Indian Kitchen had a nice kick, complex and well balanced curry flavors, and the creamless dishes I order were, in fact, creamless. The lamb vindaloo and chickpea potato curry were especially good and flavorful. Lamb vindaloo had great tomato flavor. Veggie samosas were perfect - not oily, nice and light. The raisin and coconut naan was new for me and a real treat! So delicious - almost like dessert but also a perfect pairing with what I got. In my top three of all restaurants in Boston. Definitely ordering again when I want to treat myself“

“We love Indian food and trying new places . Tonight was our first time here and it was so good. Do not be deceived by the empty restaurant! Take out orders we’re flying out of there while we sat. Our food took a while to come out but it was easily the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Paneer Manchurian, paneer tikka masala, paneer butter masala. All incredible. And wow the naan!!! The places we frequent don’t touch the quality of This food. And the best part? When you ask for mild and it comes mild! Incredible. Highly recommend.“
“Dining method: Dine-inItem(s) ordered: Egg Bara, Jeera Aloo, Shahi Paneer Masala, Navaratna Korma (I think!)Value: Very fair pricingSpeed: Food came out quite quickly, we were not waiting for long! The Review: I am so grateful to have the quality and flavor that Himalayan Kitchen serves up in their small, humble space. This was my first time, and I was very impressed. The food was fantastic and flavorful. The staff were kind, welcoming, and were very accommodating for dietary needs. There were a mountain (pun intended) of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. I used the lentil-based Bara almost as a gluten-free naan option. So, so good. I shall be dreaming of this meal for a while. At the end, they gave us some rice pudding to try, which was such a treat. My only complaint is that it wasn't really spicy enough, as I was definitely profiled by the staff ;) To be fair, I imagine they were trying to save me...all in good faith--I just have to ask for spice next time.“

“I was excited to try this new Indian spot just a few minutes from our house on the edge of Malden. Honestly, for the price point, the food far exceeded expectations. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Saag Paneer, Baigan Bharta, and samosas. Everything was flavorful, fresh. I saw another reviewer say the bangan bharta was oily and bitter - ours was smooth, a little pleasantly smokey, and had a complex spicy / slightly sweet seasoning. Cons: Small detail, but when I have ordered naan at other places, we usually get an enormous one, or two pieces in an order - this naan felt like a single-serve only. I'll definitely plan to order more next time. Also, the food isn't spicy at all - just something to be mindful of if you are expecting a bit more heat.“

“I've passed this place a bunch of times in their old downtown location and I was always curious. I finally had the opportunity to come in today (to their new place at 92 Bedford street) and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a meat combo plate with lamb curry, mater paneer, naan bread, rice and a vegetable samosa and all were excellent! The samosa in particular I liked, it didn't taste frozen or old like they sometimes do. The lamb was tender and flavorful. The mater paneer was a little soupy but was still good and made a nice gravy for the rice. There aren't many options for Indian food in downtown so it's very nice to have this place to go to. I will definitely come back!“

“This is clearly the best Indian food in the greater Boston area by a long mile. All the dishes have perfect consistency, are very tasty and aromatic, have fresh ingredients, and have a special savory quality above other Indian restaurants. Also, the chefs will make the food based on your preference of spiciness (and I've actually ordered vindaloo, which is supposed to be spicy, in other local restaurants that was served mild!) no matter what the dish. The selection is larger and more interesting that at any other local restaurant, with a good selection of special dishes, breads, and dosas in addition to all the traditional dishes. There is an amazingly good selection of several draft and bottled beers (for example, Night Shift and Jacks Abby offerings on tap, and Dogfish Head and others in bottles), which is EXTREMELY rare for Indian restaurants, which usually serve the worst quality beers. Finally, the location (Arlington Center, with plenty of on street parking) and inside decor are great, with a modern and stylish interior with comfortable seating. The wait staff is always friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. So, if you want to have the best experience in Indian dining (even if the dishes are a dollar or two more expensive), make Punjab your destination. I've been to dozens of other local Indian restaurants over the past 37 years and this is by far the best one!“

“We visited with friends who live in the area and they recommended this place. It's located in the heart of Norwood center so close to other little shops, spas and restaurants in the area. We tried various pakoras, samosas, momos, naan, chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, vegetable briyani, and every dish was memorable and delicious, with the food coming out piping hot and promptly. The service was great and seems like a really nice family run restaurant. The restaurant resides in a large building with a blue awning so it is easily visible from the road, with on street (or side street) parking nearby. We had a great time and can't wait to come back here and try other dishes.“
