Usually, I love coming to Engine House to the point that I come every other day. But tonight, it put a very sour taste in my mouth, and I probably won’t come back for a long while. I went to order a pizza and a sub, but the guy behind the counter says, “We’re not doing subs today; we don’t have bread.” Not for nothing if you’re going to be that lazy because it’s the 4th; don’t bother opening.

Went here on vacation once and got a pepperoni pizza with cheesy fries and bacon loved the food met the owner great atmosphere great food but we went back a second time (the only restaurant we went back to again) and I asked for a horseshoes (which is a Midwest thing where I’m from) the owner looked perplexed as he had never heard of that I explained it and he made one for the first time top 3 horseshoes I’ve ever had even if you order a pizza highly recommended those cheesy fries with bacon Scott and his crew were fantastic they got one of the best reviews I could possibly leave one of the best parts of my stay was this little restaurant if you’re in town I highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!

It's the perfect Pizza Experience for Salem, MA. They were kind, open, easy. The Pizza was great and the beer was cold. It was the perfect way to end out our trip for a bunch of Out-of-Towners!
We'll be back to Salem next year, and we will be coming back!

we came to dine here on a whim. The environment was amazing, the music took me back in ways. I couldn’t even imagine considering I was born in 2007, the atmosphere the ambience, the lighting the decorations. Everything was just perfect. The food was great and the hospitality was divine words cannot even describe my experience here. It was amazing thank you so much.

Pizza was decent ..... good place for a quick bite and beer
Pizza slices shrunk from last visit and was not cooked well 3.50 for a very small slice of pepperoni. Was rude to my friend wouldn't make him a sub. His excuse he was short handed. 4 employees including one playing with their phone. I payed 14 for a short plastic draft beer and two tiny slices. Never again and I have been a customer for over 30 years

Went there today staff was rude they said they couldn't make any subs i was looking for a grilled chicken sub then the guy said oh we are short staffed 3 people walked only one guy cooking and its October but i saw three people there working he was just being a rude prick ill never go back and i suggest no one goes there anymore

Our class went to Salem to take in the sights, sounds & happenings of The ?♀️ ? ? ?♀️ city! 2nd yr in a row & our students feel welcome, comfortable & enjoyed their meal (s) at the Engine House pizza. One of the men came out & treated 1 of the students to play a video game to pass the time while waiting on their lunch. Nice ppl, great spot! Ty.

In the words of a 9 year old - the cheese pizza was "The best ever. Crust is good."
First time visiting the Engine House, and we weren't disappointed. Ordered a large half cheese half pepperoni and it was out within 15 minutes. As a noncrust eater, the 9 year old enjoyed every bite. Even declaring it better than our favorite pizza back home.
Service is friendly and greets you at the door. Really liked that they told us right away what they were out of.
