Catered our wedding. Food was amazing, staff and manager were kind. Only feedback would be I wish they got back to us sooner on some of our questions but they were top notch professionals and day of went smoothly.

Absolute perfection--the only way to describe this catering company. From the very beginning, Heather was amazing to work with. She knew the wedding venue like the back of her hand, she made excellent recommendations for food, she was flexible and made adjustments to the menu when we were trying to keep the cost down, she made recommendations for other vendors during the planning process, and she has the patience of a saint. She is so incredible... despite being one of the busiest catering companies on the North Shore, she was responsive and on top of everything. We had a private tasting which was above and beyond what we expected. The day of the rehearsal, Ken came to the venue which added to the extra touch they give all of the work they do. When we arrived at the venue for rehearsal, there was a major issue with how the room was set up and the venue coordinator was denying responsibility for the issue and was refusing to fix it - while I was about to have a meltdown--Ken to the rescue! He kept a cool head and since he has done so much work with the venue in the past, he was able to get them to agree to fix the problem which I was so thankful for. We had to leave the venue to get to dinner before I knew if the problem would really be fixed and he told me DO NOT worry--no matter what when I show up the next day, everything will look like how I planned. And sure enough--it did. Ken and his crew made everything perfect, it exceeded my expectations- they completely transformed the room. They helped set up for the ceremony and then flipped the room and made it a beautiful room for the reception. They really saved the day. One side of our family is a bunch of FOODIES--and we got absolute rave reviews about the food, there wasn't a single disappointed guest. DELICIOUS FOOD! They also worked around a couple food allergies and my vegan diet, absolutely incredible. They worked amazingly with the other vendors, they arrived at the venue 4 hours early, and stayed as late as necessary to clean up and remove all of the garbage. They had beautiful, classy looking serving dishes for the food stations. They supplied all of the china, flatware, linens. Their staff is amazing at what they do. DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING WITHOUT HEATHER & KEN. I will forever be grateful at how amazing they were and how they really helped make our day so perfect. Thank you!!!

Definitely hire this company to cater your event! My family used Ken Rothwell catering for a wedding welcome dinner ( casual ) for 100 people this past weekend and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The food was fabulous, everything was delicious and creative and the guests were still talking about it days later. The serving and bar tending staff friendly and efficient and Heather- well honestly I can't say enough about her. From the very start, Heather completely understood the fun, casual but coordinated atmosphere I was looking for. I had a few menu "must haves" like lobster rolls and an ice cream Sunday bar and she did the rest. She also came to my rescue when I couldn't get to the florist and throughout the entire process, she coordinated with the venue. I am both a control freak and a worrier and Heather kept me anxiety free. I am an experienced party thrower and I would use this team again in a heartbeat without hesitation for any type of event. It was a bonus that they are also the caterer for OceanView in Nahant where we had our wedding.

Ken's Kickin' Chicken which now has a store front on North St is AMAZING! They have excellent different varieties of chicken pot pie and also a great selection of other prepared foods. The prices are a little bit higher than what you would pay for a frozen pot pie but you get what you pay for, it is definitely worth it! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. A must for anyone who lives on the North Shore.

This is the most under rated place around! I recommend them often and they did a FANTASTIC job at my wedding. They were easy and more than accommodating to work with. I feel that they went above and beyond to please me and my guests and their food was terrific. They have a terrific business and it is clear that they care about their customers and the events that they work on. Definitely consider working with them on your event or wedding. I have even used them to create appetizer platters for smaller events.
