once upon a time this place was good. I went in for a quick bite and was informed there were no tables, only bar seating. seeing as I was by myself that was fine. what wasn't fine was sitting at the bar for 10 minutes before staff decided to acknowledge me. meanwhile behind me someone is arguing with the hostess over a pickup order not being ready and the rest of their food getting cold while they wait for it. I think I might be done coming here.
I had the pupu platter and it was over saturated with oil and tasteless, disappointing. The pork fried rice had no flavor and the peas in the rice were crunchy, as if they had not been cooked. Fortunately the sushi was great.
