OMG, the woman who is I think the hostes, wow is she pretty & she needs to be grateful for that because that is the ONKY thing she's got going for her, RUDE!! Itried making small talk (as people do) she wasn't having any of it, the food is terrific, the atmosphere is wonderful, but this one black hair, ponytail OMG,RUDE & UNFRIENDLY, DEFINITELY doesn't give you that "hey come on back another time " felling, more of a "go away & don't try to talk to me " feeling, VERY UNPLEASANT, but she'll probably get by just fine on her looks, as for "charm" she's void of any

Tiny little place maybe I didn’t see it all but I wouldn’t want to come with 6+ people. Besides that everything was GREAT! Food was delicious and service was awesome. No complaints at all.

I agree with all the people who describe this place as the best brunch spot in Salem. I ordered the tuna sandwich and that was a mistake because now I am always thinking about how good it was and nothing else compares. Why?!

Whoever the cook was October 21st needs a kiss on the mouth. The Irish benedict was THE BEST breakfast of my life. I will dream about it forever. 10/10 stars, this place is off the chain 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The food was average or a bit below. The service needs quite a bit of improvement. We felt like asking for something it was always an inconvenience.

Amazing food and drinks. Lots of fun and unique options for both, and everything was delicious. Got the Dominican Benny and Apple caramel pancakes! The caramel apple cider mimosa is a must! Service was great.

We stopped off for lunch at Salems Retreat in Salem Massachusetts ( Parking is in back ). They have outside seating, but we chose to go inside. The place was half full when we got there, but we were able to get a table right away. The service from all the staff was awesome!!
The cocktail I had picked was : Peanut Butter Whiskey Egg Nog. At first I took a sip and I was like. Mm Egg Nog with a hint of something but soo good... Not until you've sipped half of it do you finally taste some of the alcohol. That's what makes it so good.
The entrée I had was Haddock and Sweet Potato fries ( fish and chips ). When I cut the Haddock with my fork steam rose up.You could smell how fresh it was. That first bite so nice and soft & flacky. I love that they use barely any breading and it kept it's full flavor the whole meal as well. I didn't even have to use any tartar sauce.
The Sweet Potato fries were tender, hot and popping with flavor. There were no hard crunchy or burnt fries at all. There was so much I could no finish and had to take half of everything home. Hours later at night I had it for dinner, warmed them up and it still was just as good. I would definitely go back and give two thumbs 👍 👍.

The Eggs Benedict selection here is awesome and I wanted to try them all, but do yourself a favor and order the Dominican Benedict! The sweet plantain with the savory bacon and sausage is to die for. I don't even like sausage much but the sausage here made me reconsider my opinion because it was really good. I kinda wanted to call and ask where they get it from. All the components together were truly delicious, and the cheese was fried which made it really indulgent. I asked for tobasco to put on the potatoes and after tasting them I never even opened the bottle. I guess you could say I was pleased. Oh and the parking lot out back is very convenient!
