Spells is a lovely local cafe for anyone visiting Salem. The staff are super friendly and always happy to help. The food and drinks is second to none. 100 percent amazing location! Highly recommend! A+++++

I asked for a BLT the bacon was raw the bagel was not toasted and the tomato seeds were green. My stomach started pounding as soon as I finished eating it. Then I got food poisoning. It was a bad experience would never get a sandwich from this place again. Oh the bacon was precooked you buy at the market not real bacon and they did not heat it up. The is awful.

My partner and I are in town for a concert, we decided to check out this little shop that was a walks distance from our airbnb. Do not really recommend. My iced coffee was fine, a bit bitter tasting but my partner’s coffee had weird particles floating in it which we determined were not coffee grounds. Our food was microwaved and there was hair in both our food items. I wanted to say something but my partner is on the social anxiety side so I know he wouldn’t want me to make a scene. Waited long time (around 10 minutes) for microwaved, hair filled food. Workers were nice, but clearly have a lack of awareness that a small business needs to stay afloat.

Used to love this place for breakfast but last time I got a sausage sandwich it was literally just a microwaved sausage link??? Like not even cut up or pan fried. Not really sure why they made this change and I wish they would have just changed the menu before I wasted my money. Service and coffee is still great but yeah, won’t be ordering food again

Service was great but I ordered a sausage sandwich and it came with a regular sausage link instead of a patty? It tasted fine but it was just weird to put that on a sandwich and meant my sandwich wouldn't "close" correctly. It was just weird and I've never gotten a sausage sandwich like that.

I had ordered a cappuccino yesterday. I didn’t recall what kind it was But it was extremely well-made. I have to say I’m a coffee enthusiast I like coffees from around the world and the coffee definitely took my breath away. Thank you guys this place is definitely worth going to see and definitely leave the ladies a tip.Parking: And I believe on the right side of the building

Service and look of the place was fantastic, it’s a very cute shop, but the coffee is horrible. burnt tasting and sour. Good ideas, poor execution, would not recommend.
Drive by all the time finally stopped in. My Gezzelig Potion was delicious as was my bagel sandwich.Friendly fun atmosphere.

My friend got the avo toast and matcha (and she’s a snob about both) and she now wants to drive to Salem just for spells coffee! The people who work there are so incredibly nice!
