Village Tavern is a lively bar and grill located on Essex St. in the heart of Salem, open daily from 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM. The space has a casual, welcoming vibe that fits right in with Salem's bustling downtown.

Good food, was busy but got seated quickly, did take quite a while to get our food and didn't give us our check until long after we finished our food and our table had already been cleared, other than that it was pretty good

We are from Hungary. The food was great. I think it’s one of the best restaurant in hole USA. All the people was kind over there and the hostess (I think her name was Megan, sweet blond girl) was really helpful with us. If we will visit Salem again 100% we will eat here. The soups and the steaks are my favorites.
