The Drift In Reviews
Very small
We held a celebration of life at The Drift In for my late brother Mike on very short notice. The entire staff could not have been more warm and welcoming to (a very large!) family and group of friends. We are so grateful for the memories, thank you so much for a wonderful time
Menu was very good and reasonable prices. Its winter ! That said plates should be warmed, food got cold before i could get half way thru the meal. Please ! Use a thicker bacon, that was paper thin today!
But i will come back for a second try

The Drift In restaurant, located near a municipal golf course, offers exceptional quality and service. The sun-drenched patio bar is a perfect spot to relax, and the food is consistently great. The menu features items like Fish Tacos, Smash Burger, and Lobster "soup," all of which receive high praise. The Jambalaya is also a standout dish. Guests enjoy the view of the marshes from the deck, and the food is considered reasonable. The restaurant has made efforts to improve accessibility, with a new wheelchair-friendly entrance. Servers are delightful, and live music sometimes adds to the lively atmosphere, making it a fun place to visit. The staff, including the bartender, are friendly and attentive. Recent visitors have praised the tasty food, including a blackened shrimp wrap with perfect seasoning and full to the bottom, hot and crunchy fries, and a steak bomb with sweet yellow peppers that made the sandwich even better. The atmosphere is perfect for casual meals and special occasions alike, like post-wedding brunches, which have been described as flawless with impeccable service and tasty food. Despite its excellent reputation, the restaurant is often not fully booked, making it a hidden gem worth discovering.
