“I recently had my baby shower at The Cafe and could not recommend them enough for any shower, meeting or event needs. First, Mike was a pleasure to work with. The communication was always constant and thorough. He was extremely helpful in the planning process. The place looked amazing on the day of the shower and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Frank and Kim were the staff members on during my shower and they were amazing. I wish I had another need to use them for but will definitely use them again when the opportunity presents itself! The food was delicious and everyone at my shower could not stop raving about it. It made my baby shower perfect!“

“We recently attended a friends birthday party that Chef David prepared an outstanding 5 course meal for us. Each new dish had a unique and appealing look and taste. He prepared the best French onion soup I have ever tasted. The cold plates were cold and the hot plates were a perfect temperature for the seafood and beef dish. “Great experience grabbing some of their fresh made food. Homemade chicken empanadas and beef patties stuffed with flavorful oxtail & creamy Mac and cheese. Everything had great layers of flavor you’d expect from that cuisine and tasted fresh. Danielle and the rest of the staff are super friendly and made the experience easy and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and order more regularly, even if eating more delicious food goes against my New Year’s resolutions“

“Simply horrendous!! The appetizers tasted old, Dinner was cold, BLAH!! Asked the bar for cranberry juice and got Hawaiian Punch!! Took over 3 hours for all of the courses to be served. Finally, the coffee was brought out! Yes, you guessed it—COLD AND OLD!! We never got dessert. Told waitress my husband didn’t feel well and I asked her if we could get a couple of pastries to go, she refused! Paid $40 X 2!! An awful lot of money for high priced garbage and service that took well over 3 hours to complete!!“

“We just had our wedding at Glen Manor with Russell Morin Catering.
I found that the food was actually better on the day of the wedding - which I’m not sure happens often. The only thing we didn’t care for were the specialty cocktails - those could use more refining - so we didn’t get his and hers cocktails for our day but that didn’t impact our or the guest experience. I heard from guests that they loved the food and the appetizers. Morins also worked well with our planners (Mavinhouse) and, while I could have eaten more, the staff definitely prioritized us with appetizers and ensured I always had a fresh cold glass of bubbly in my hand.
Communication with the team throughout the process was clear and I felt supported and relaxed going into the big day!
I would recommend utilizing them, especially at Glen manor since they run operations there very smoothly and efficiently.“

The space was beautiful and the ambiance was absolutely perfect for a private celebration. We had the entire place to ourselves, which made the evening feel even more special.

David also created amazing dining options for the vegetarians in our group, and they were just as flavorful and thoughtfully crafted as the rest of the menu. “We've now had two events catered by Achva (formerly Ahava) Catering, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Freda and her team basically did two full bar mitzvah weekends for us - full catering for the main events, plus kiddush spreads and take-out items to supplement family meals. We're particular about menus and food quality, and Freda and her team couldn't have been more amazing about crafting the perfect elevated menus with us, and executing it all with perfect professionalism and warmth. They made it easy and pleasant, coordinted and helped on site with other vendors, and seriously impressed all our guests. “7/19/25 was our wedding day. We had approximately 8-weeks to plan. We had a back yard wedding so we chose to have buffet style meal. The planner I dealt with made it so easy, I knew what I wanted,changed it up a few times. She was super accommodating.The food and the staff was AMAZING. The 2 gentlemen who we had ( I thought we just to serve our food) did more than that. They served coffee and cake that I brought myself, cleaned up guest tables, none of which was on my contract. They took care of us and we definitely took care of them. 10 out of 10 for sure. Thank you“

“Very good food, excellent atmosphere with really good drinks. Our server, Tuesday, was terrific. Overall it was a very good night. The only downside is that it's a small dining room and the servers had very little room to get between the tables. We kept getting brushed as the tried to get by. Not badly, and we tried to keep our chairs in but still...

“Have been to a lot of pig roasts, but Carl Cordeiro and his team do one Hell of a Job. .. by far the best I've had the pleasure of being a part of. Their ritual style preparation of pig roasting was amazing too watch, turn after turn and constant rotation as well continuous basting... through the hours of their roasting of the pig the aroma grew better and better by the hour. And during the whole time their camaraderie was amazing. I truly enjoyed being a part of it. then got to partake in the eating of said awesome pig... I would recommend Good too the Bone Pig Roast for any type of party or fundraiser!!!“
