He insisted that it would be worth the drive from Rochester, MA (my location) to Cranston, raving, “It’s the BEST!” and promising me that I won’t be disappointed. I’ll tell you this… he was not wrong!! From the sushi, to the service… A++++ Their entire staff is full of joyous energy and are super on top of everything. It’s so refreshing to see a place of business full of an entire group of people all working so wonderfully together. I came here a few other times. I forgot how good this place was until I came back again today. The people are so nice. It’s so sad how this place is hidden and lowkey because the food is so amazing!!! They deserve more recognition.
I got a shrimp tempura and before Ive had their poke bowls and gyozas… when I tell you I haven’t been able to find a good authentic sushi spot in Rhode Island until now. I had already given them a tip BUT after eating, I had to go back in to give an even bigger tip!!!
I talked to the people as well and they’ve been open for 17 years. The people are from Haruki. They are really such good and genuine people and you can tell they make their food with love.

“just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. I've been to numerous fast Chinese food places and none of them have been as good as this place with the quality of food and the amount given. the price was moderate in today's society of price gouging it was $27 and well worth it. if you enjoy Chinese food and really want to get a bang for your buck as well as and enjoyment of flavors in your mouth go to China Gourmet!“

“Really enjoyed the offering they have including make your own Ramen they were heavy if you have two. Sakura milk tea was so good it had hint of cherry blossoms even better if you got them with tapioca pearls. A staff at the holiday Inn Theodore Francis Green Airport recommended this to us.
