“I just tried the food for the first time. I had a classic Greek pita (with chicken) and a steak skewer as a side order. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was welcoming and friendly. “I had the pleasure of visiting Vincent Restaurant in Cranston on their very first day, and I must say, I was impressed by both the ambiance and the food. The restaurant had a welcoming vibe, and to top it off, it was baby Vincent's birthday! They kindly offered us complimentary empanadas to celebrate, which was a thoughtful gesture.

We ordered the chicken empanadas, and while they were good, I found them a bit on the dry side. I personally would have a little more seasoning in the chicken for a bolder flavor, but the accompanying sauce liked helped balance things out. On the other hand, the bread with tomatoes was incredible—absolutely no complaints there!

Given that it was their first day, I expected a few service hiccups, and we did encounter one. My fiancée Hilary ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, but they brought out the shrimp version instead. Fortunately, she didn't mind and enjoyed the dish regardless. I opted for the chicharrón mofongo, and while it was tasty, I felt it could have used a bit more meat and a side of sauce to allow for some extra flavoring if desired. I mentioned this to the waiter, who was quick to address my feedback and provided the sauce on the side.

Overall, it was a great experience in a prime location. I’ll definitely be returning and wish them much success as they continue to grow and improve!

Spanish Review:

I was lucky enough to visit Vincent Restaurant in Cranston the first day they opened, and I must say I was impressed with both the atmosphere and the food. The restaurant had a cozy vibe, and to top it all off, it was little Vincent's birthday! They offered us complimentary empanadas to celebrate, which was a very kind gesture.

We ordered the chicken empanadas, and although they were good, I found them a little dry. In my opinion, the chicken lacked a little more seasoning for a stronger flavor, but the accompanying sauce helped balance the dish. On the other hand, the bread with tomatoes was incredible, absolutely nothing to fault!

We chose Hangry Kitchen, just 6 minutes from downtown. So much that I could say about the meal. But I will summarize it. I asked if I could get a side of tomato juice for my beer. (Yeah beer and tomato juice is amazing). They did not have any canned or bottled tomato juice. THEY JUICED SOME TOMATOS! The rest of the meal was just as memorable. “Promptly greeted upon arrival with a smile, eye contact and welcome. We arrived five minutes early for our reservation but were promptly seated, given both food menu and drink menu and were informed that our server would be Lexi . She arrived shortly thereafter, introduced herself and welcomed us with a smile and eye contact. Lexi named the evening special and described the dish, offered several entree suggestions when we asked questions. Lexi took our drink and appetizer and dinner order and quickly reappeared with drinks; our appetizers arrived via food runner who also inquired if we needed anything else before departing . We noticed Lexi warmly welcoming new diners at adjoining tables and efficiently answering questions and taking food and drink orders. Our food arrived as soon as we finished appetizers of flavorful Greek salad and chowder. Lexi ensured we had everything necessary and promptly refilled our drinks when asked.. dinner of braised short rib man n cheese was flavorful with a wonderful cheese sauce. The kitchen timed all the components of our meal perfectly. Well definitely be returning. Thank you!!!“

“I’ve been here a few times for lunch, and it never disappoints. Most of the time I order the chicken parm sandwich and fries. It’s always been good, every time I’ve ordered it.
They have a pretty extensive menu of Italian-American style food. A lot of pasta, sandwiches, pizza, etc. I’d never tried the pasta, but we’ve ordered pizza before, and it’s pretty good.
Whatever I’ve ever ordered from here, no matter what, it always comes out piping-hot, which is great.
The chicken parm sandwich was no exception, the super crispy chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside, and tender and flavorful inside. It held up very well to the lava hot marinara sauce it was covered with, and the mozzarella cheese-pull was the best. This place is definitely in my rotation of chicken parm sandwich spots.
The inside of the restaurant has weird decor. I guess it’s supposed to look like somebody’s grandmothers living room. I guess it does sort of. There’s a bunch of random old photos and items on the wall that makes it look dated.
The food is usually really good though, and I will definitely be back for more chicken parms.“

“So it was Fathers Day and of course my fiancé wanted to go golfing and he chose Harbor Lights golf course. We’re from Connecticut but on the border of Rhode Island but still don’t go there as much. After he was done he said he would love if we went to dinner for Father’s Day with our daughter and my mom. I searched for places in the area of the golf course, was looking for something sort of near the water and that’s when I found Iggy’s ! Had great reviews so I called and booked a reservation! We were running a little late but called to let them know and said that it was fine. When we arrived, the place was PACKED! Which is definitely a great sign. Every staff member we encountered were so nice and helpful! Our server Zach was amazing and so accommodating! He was knowledgeable and was just so friendly! My mom is a super critic ( she always has something to say about something which sometimes gets embarrassing ) haha but she could not say enough how good the food was and service and atmosphere! She absolutely loved it and we had the best time! My 13 month old had her first milkshake and LOVED it! Hahah Thank you for the great experience! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Rhode Island! :)“

“Love Pokeworks Providence, I think I’ve gone every single week at least once since they’ve opened! I think I’ve tried every combination of the menu, and have several Favorites and several custom blended favorite! My only suggestion can I buy the dressings? I would love to use them at home for my own marinades and and not is nearly as special salads!!! Having the dressing would not stop me from coming to Pokeworks at least once a week, but I would feel as if I’m eating healthier at home, and I would love to have a little pokey works in my kitchen! Need someone to test market this idea on? I am the one !!!!!!“

“Baja’s is my favorite place to go when I’m looking for a fresh Mexican bowl! They have a drive-thru for pickup if you order online, or you can go inside and enjoy your bowl with a nice cerveza.

There are around 20 locations throughout RI, MA, and CT. I 100% would recommend.
