But, we had 16 people in our party and WOW long horn did an amazing job serving us! They could’ve turned us away but they made it work, and we were in and out within 1.5 hours. First off, let me tell you about Jeff, our server. This guy is a rockstar, plain and simple. Not only was he super sharp on all the food and wine, but he was also just incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly. We had our 3-year-old son with us, and Jeff handled it all like a pro – making sure our little guy was happy and comfortable, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy the special occasion. He really went above and beyond to make the night special for all of us.
Then there's Danielle, the dining room manager. Seriously, she's incredible. You could just tell she was running the show flawlessly, making sure everyone was having a fantastic time. She even stopped by our table to chat and wish my wife a happy birthday, and you could feel how much she genuinely cares about her guests. It's clear she sets the tone for the whole place, and it just radiates excellence.
And the food? Oh my goodness. Every single dish was spot on. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the sides were delicious, and the birthday dessert was the ideal sweet ending. The whole atmosphere felt elegant but still totally comfortable, which was great for a family celebration.
If you're looking for an unforgettable meal in Providence, especially for a special event, you absolutely have to go to The Capital Grille. Definitely ask for Jeff to be your server, and you'll see firsthand the amazing job Danielle does running the show. We left feeling completely pampered and can't wait to go back! “If I could rate more than five stars on service alone, I absolutely would. I came in an hour and a half before close, which can be a kind of crappy thing sometimes admittedly, working in food service previously I can understand . But I'd just gotten out of work and wanted some good food, which I was absolutely given.

I was greeted at the door by a really nice hostess, and Richard, my waiter who I had the time before, not only remembered me but gave me a very genuine greeting. I'd written a review about him in the longhorn survey, which he thanked me for, letting me know that he'd won a contest they'd been having regarding reviews. Which was absolutely deserved, he was attentive, kind, and delievered overall great service.

The food was awesome, my steak was cooked perfectly medium rare (which is a difficult thing for some places for some reason), my baked potato was great, and the Texas Tonion is literally my favorite thing on the menu!

And I feel like it's also necessary to mention, even as it was getting closer to close, when restaurants have a tendency to get a bit messy/cluttered, everyone was on top of keeping the place practically spotless! Tens across the board!! I don't usually write reviews but I was compelled mainly by the quality of service.“

“Had a hankering for some Texas Roadhouse and we had a couple gift cards to use, so we decided to head down to the Cranston location for lunch/dinner. We had Wilmery as our server, loved here attitude and laughter she made us laugh and enjoyed her company. She made some recommendations, told her how I wanted my steak and the sides.
