“We always love going there. Some of the reviews I have read seem biased. I do not want my server to be engaging. That’s not professional. I want my server to serve me in a professional manner there’s a big difference. Also someone wrote it’s dark and dingy. That’s what we love. But we call it atmospheric and romantic. Bartenders are always excellent. Service never has been poor. The food was always tasty. Portions are large. They run 3 course specials that are fun if you have an appetite. It’s not a kid friendly place. Although they are not rude to kids the kids probably wouldn’t enjoy it. It’s small and tables are close together. We sat at the bar once because we didn’t have a reservation and the place was packed. We had a great time. Like the Italians say “Try it, You’ll like it” 😄 going there tonight“

“Ate there for breakfest today. The food all taste as I would want it to and was hot. however their was nothing to write home about in regards to the menu. Nothing real "homeade (hash, bread, etc) The Waitress we had was HORRIBLE. Short hair and piercings. Didnt check on us, didnt take the menus away, took forever to get the check after we finished eating. took WAY too long to put in our to-go order so that we were just waiting around for it after we were done eating. very "space cadet" , it was quite frustrating having to ask for everything instead of Her Anticipating ANYTHING!“

“The best brownies ever, delicious pies, great platters, I could really go on and on about everything Yummy Mummy does great. Today however I need to absolutely rave about the cake made for my dad’s birthday. I sent a picture of a beer can and asked for a cake based on the can and holy moly did they pull out all the stops. This cake was the talk of the party and Yummy is an understatement!!!“

Used to be our go to place for kabobs however seems like it has new owners and the place is no longer halal or has the menu it used to. Unfortunately, won’t be coming back however rating it 5 stars for all the delicious food it served us over the years“

“We hired Mara and her team for our wedding cake and they did a phenomenal job! From the beginning of cake tasting and sitting down with Mara to come up with what we wanted for our day to the day of the event we have nothing but great things to say. We wanted something simple and chose a smaller cake to cut into and a total of three different flavors cakes for guests (red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting, chocolate cake and raspberry frosting, and lastly vanilla cake and vanilla frosting for those who like to keep it simple). The cakes were so moist and flavorful. Our guests couldn’t stop saying how delicious they were and where they were from. We even got an anniversary cake that we cannot wait to eat again. We are so grateful and thankful for this bakery and making our bellies full and tastebuds so happy. 🥰“

“My niece is starting at Holy Cross so I decided to get her some suprise cupcakes delivered. I ordered them just before 5pm ON A FRIDAY, mind you, and they were delivered inside an hour. Just top notch. Easily secured my business for the next four years.“

Kerri is great. she's a hard worker and a great bartender and Server. whatever this place is paying her? they should pay her more? Great Job. I also highly recommend the lemon salmon 😋 with Apragus and spinach risotto all my favorite foods into one. I highly recommend this dish. I love this dish so much. I eat it all and lick the plate 🍽 clean and then I order a whole 2nd order of it to go time and time again. “My husband and I sat at the bar. Bartender was great. Very attentive, great personality. Interacted with a few waitresses that were all very personable! Food was on point. We had classic calamari which was cooked perfect and was lightly battered. Very tasty. We both ordered the Nashville chicken tacos and they were amazing! Dessert drinks were delicious! Apple martini and skrewy White Russian. Highly recommend!!“

“We're relatively new to central MA and this is the best pizza we've found in the area, especially when we ask for extra sauce. Inside is really nice too, and staff were patient when we were in the bar area with our two little kids. We've had a few small hiccups with orders, but they're good about resolving them, and often do it proactively, which we greatly appreciate (i.e. we screwed something up, we too X dollars off your bill).“

“I just started working in the Clinton area, and this place has instantly become my go to place for lunch. The subs are enormous. Today I tried their meatball sub, and it did not disappoint. The employees are all friendly, and the food is definitely above the pizza / sub shop norm.

Parking: There's 5-6 spots within 10 feet of the door and plenty of on street parking.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for the kids to dine in.“

This restaurant used to be a staple of ours. In fact, I still say it has one of the best Chicken Parm of any restaurant. In the last few years though, it has consistently been incrementally dropping in satisfaction and has hit the tipping point of causing an update.

It started years ago when they changed from offering a wonderful basket of Greek bread and dipping oil to two rolls and some butter. Then they started playing around with the plating. Sandwiches on bare metal trays, Chicken Parm and Pene on a wooden plate once, ect.

The other day, what should have been a simple Turkey Club came out as a Turkey Sandwich. Turkey Club... white bread, toasted, layered, cut in quarters. Every place in the world knows how to make it. It's beauty is in its simplicity. It doesn't need to be "fancy". My wife got a Steak and Cheese Sandwich. Another dish every corner Pizza Shop can do relatively well. This was way overly cheesed (didn't know that was possible) with cuts of steak instead of shaved. And small cuts like they went out of their way to dice the steak while it was frozen to then thaw and use.

It seems like every time we go in now and every new dish we try we always end up saying, "It would have been great, except....". It's like they got a new chef who wants to try a new fancy thing or fad but forgets the basics of what made the food great to begin with.

I hope them success because as the Manor (now their function side), it was always special when I ate there. Now their "Excepts..." are killing them like a thousand cuts. Get back to your roots, get the basics right, and please, put a French Dip Sandwich on your menu.“
