“Went for first time 3/3/24 and caught the end of the brunch buffet around 4pm. The food was flavorful, fresh, and overall excellent. Something for everyone in that buffet -it's not overly seasoned, and they had several deserts that use natural sweeteners (like dates and figs) with no added sugar. They keep the food areas very well attended and clean. I will be back again and again, what a great find!“

I've never been to a restaurant serving shawarma and falafel with such delicious food.
My partner and I were amazed by the food.

Aside from the taste of the food, the owner and employees (I believe the owner's sons) are incredibly kindhearted.

“I Had the most delicious dinner DoorDashed to work last night. Every single person that walked by at work said omg that looks and smells amazing! The Greek Salad was SO fresh, the colors of the tomatoes, cucumbers etc. were so vibrant! I enjoyed the chicken shawarma as well!“

“I or wife have eaten in the Sudbury restaurant about 5 times in the last few months. We love it, especially since my wife is of Lebanese descent. Pat is an outstanding, quick and very nice waiter.

HOWEVER - I WAS SHOCKED AT THE PRICE OF A DRAFT BEER. $14.00 is out of line, my wife's wine was only $13.00. We will continue to come to El Basha for the excellent Lebanese food, but I will be careful not to order a beer. Ice water is also great to have with a Lebanese meal.“

“Chop Kabob was a delight, therefore, had to leave a review… the food was scrumptious. I live in Boston but visited the Burlington Coat factory in Westborough Ma. I’m hard to please when it comes to food but was hungry and wanted something healthy. Service and food were great and the cost was reasonable… I had the stew lamb shank and wow it was so tasty… the meat was falling off the bone and the spices (saffron etc) were delicious. “I’ve been living in Worcester for a long time and I am sorry I did not discover this wonderful place sooner! Lots of good things to say about this place and it will be my go to for interesting food to eat and purchasing of food items moving forward. I love the focus of this marketplace as you can have a bite to eat such as their flavorful shawarma sandwich’s. Also, their bakery is soooo good! I had a pistachio chocolate croissant 🥐 that is to die for. (Much better than some fancy bakery shops) Oh and most importantly their prices are really affordable in my opinion. These are some of the things you can get high quality at a fair price. Tahini paste, spices, prepared sauces and prepared food in their refrigerated section. The garlic sauce is on point. Olive oils, preserved jams, coffee, etc. They carry quite a bit of inventory of various interesting food items. Definitely make a trip to this wonderful store. You won’t be disappointed! 😊“

“El Basha on Belmont St is one of the best spots in Worcester for authentic Lebanese food. The hummus, tabouli are fresh, the steak and chicken are tender and flavorful, and portions are very nice. Friendly staff, cozy vibe, and fair prices. Always a great experience here!“

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner/welcome party upstairs at Nuovo in August of 2022 which included almost 100 people. We could not be happier with our choice!!! The food and drinks are excellent and the staff are so hard-working and friendly. The owners are phenomenal and genuinely care about the happiness and satisfaction of their guests. We discussed our vision for the evening with Loreta in advance and she sure did help us achieve it. We had our own bar and servers, as well as a solo live singer we hired who they were easily able to accommodate. Loreta was incredibly responsive, kind, helpful, and patient. My family and I have also had dinner here and we just can’t say enough about how wonderful our several experiences have been. We will absolutely make the trip to Worcester to go back. Huge thanks to Loreta and all the other amazing staff for helping us create beautiful memories. We would HIGHLY recommend Nuovo to anyone!!“

“Four of us went out for dinner at El Basha for a casual dinner and a chance to catch up. The owner and staff immediately make you feel welcome and treat you like famliy. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. We typically order a few things to share and eat family style. We start with a Mezza Platter which is like a lebanese pu pu platter and then order a couple of main dishes. Our favorites are the Beef Stroganoff and the Port Saiid. I also highly recommend the Lebanese white wine , Blanc de Blanc which is reasonably priced and tastes similar to a pinot grigio.“
