This a terrific, low-key bar populated mostly by locals. No food (other than community dinners and bagged snacks) but a good selection of alcohol at very reasonable prices. There's one pool table, a wood stove, and a back room that can be reserved for larger events. There's also a pavilion for outdoor music in the summer. Nothing fancy here - just a great neighborhood bar in the best sense of the word.

If you're looking for a wonderful place to meet and share good times with an awesome community of folks, this is your spot. There's a great beer and drink selection, free pool on Wednesdays, music on weekends, delicious member- hosted dinners. It's the closest thing I know of to an honest-to-God pub - a gathering place and cultural hub for rural folks - in the US. Especially for those of us living up on the Hill in the North Quabbin area, it's the place to be.

Wonderful little cozy place- went there for live swing/jazz music and the woodstove was sparked, people were dancing and laughing. Definitely would recommend this spot in the middle of the woods!
