“Just had our tasting today for our wedding cake. We choose salted caramel and lemon raspberry. Nancy makes her own buttercream frosting. I am someone who has sensitive teeth. Her frosting was perfect! Didn’t hurt my teeth and it was perfect. Creamy, light and airy. Her prices are incredible affordable also. Everywhere else was pricing over a grand for serving 100 people. We were well under budget for our cake. I will post pictures of the cake when it’s our big day.Also Nancy is a very kind person and easy to get along with. Thank you so much, Nancy!!“

“Kelly was amazing to work with! We set up a cake testing appointment where she brought out this cute cake sample board. She helped us experiment with different flavors; whatever we did not finish, we were able to bring home. I gave her a few pictures of what we wanted and she told us she can definitely do it. We also had our cake topper and our dog that we wanted to add. She followed through with her word and added the other components to the cake we wanted. Her pricing for her cake and the taste of the cake was amazing. We are so happy we went with Kelly and her shop!P.S. The leftover cake still tasted fresh after several days!“

“One word to describe this place “OUTSTANDING”!my husband told me about this place as he was passing by it during work. I have to say, we are sooo happy we don’t have to travel 30 mins to get cachupa! The cachupa refogado is packed with flavor and not dry and pale like other places we’ve tried. Service and hospitality was amazing. The place is very clean, organized and well put together. We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you Islands cafe & bakery !“

“Me and my family went and there was not a line thank god and the food was fast but I will say the staff didn't make much eye contact and showed they didn't care that much and didn't want to be there I can understand why a little when there are three staff workers and only one was running the place and the other two was in the back near the door where you can see inside just chillin' and only went to help when more people started to show up. If I had to say what was needed for improvement is teamwork and treating the customers and making them feel like they are being heard and welcomed, for example smiling and having a positive attitude and voice tone and saying welcome when people enter. I will say the one worker who was doing the online orders and our orders was a great worker I just wish she could have gotten some help there.“
