Excellent arepas and addicted to the green sauce. Interesting space with Aeronaut Brewing in the same place. Excited to go with the warmer weather - the shared space has a nicely sized outdoor area. Go here to fuel up before tackling Market Basket.

All of our meals were delicious! This was our first time eating Venezuelan food, and we loved it. We greatly appreciated that they had many gluten free options.

Spicy beef bowl - the beef was tender and flavorful. I like the green sauce and the hot sauce that you can add to the side. The tomatoes added a nice freshness to the bowl. There were a lot of beans so the rice absorbed a lot of the bean juices. Overall, a great lunch option!

This is a review of the MIT location. I've been meaning to try them out for a while and they seem to be pretty popular. Service was friendly and attentive enough. I ordered the arepa pabellón and the tequeños. The arepa was delicious and had a good amount of fillings, but I was surprised by the size given the price. The tequeños were also priced steeply, its dough and cheese. The basil mayo was outstanding. I get that the prices are probably a reflection of the customers, MIT students, but I really didn't think the value was there. Very tasty food, price point was not there for me.

Mar 2024:Spot inside the Brewery. The food is very filling and with a nice veggie option. Very flavorful veggie bowl with magical green sauce and the arepa with plantains and cheese was fire. 5/5. They give this free hot sauce thats vinegary and spicy-like buffalo sauce, not my thing but you may like it.

I'm sorry to write a mediocre review, but I expected much more and was disappointed. The location is somewhat hard to find, accessed from the brewery. Also hard to find parking nearby. The place is quite empty on a weekday around noon. The interiors are somewhat rough, exposed steel structure, not much decor. Also no music, just loud rattling from the big refrigerator. The food was pretty good but not amazing, and the prices are high. $12 for a small bowl that is not filling, $8.5 for a small arepa (even two would not fill me up for lunch). And they do not serve water. Bottom line- nice place to try different food, but not good value compared to a taqueria.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian arepa, bowl of rice with veggies and cheese, otherWheelchair accessibility: All flat, no stairs

Incredible Venezuelan arepas! I am strictly gluten free due to a severe allergy, and this place never disappoints! ??

Sadly, this place was not my favorite. I love Venezuelan food, so I had high hopes. I'm not sure if we just went on an off day, but there were some major issues. The arepa shells were rock hard. I had a really hard time biting into them. I'm guessing this batch was just overcooked, but it was disappointing. There was also so much filling for the tiny arepa shell it was quite difficult to eat. The tequenas were good, but I wish they came with more sauce. All in all it wasn't terrible, but I probably wouldn't go back.

We visited the location on the MIT campus (it's on the second floor of the student center and is only open on weekdays). Wow! So many delicious options that are all gluten free (with one exception). The arepas were fantastic! Order two if you're hungry! They take a little longer than the bowls so if you're in a hurry opt for the bowls instead. One in our family has celiac and didn't have any issues. We'll definitely go back!

It was fine. Basically Venezuelan fast food. It's nestled inside Aeronaut Brewing.I was there for Picture + Panel, a monthly graphic novel conversation series. So having food available while the presentation was happening was great!

I have gone to Aeronaut numerous times but this was the first time I have tried Carolicious. It was SO good. I went with the Pork and Pico Arepa and the hot sauce had some great flavor. The food came out very quickly and was very warm. Must try!
