As a born and raised Peruvian, I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Considering that we are in the US, it was a really good pollo a la brasa. The seasoning was good (maybe a bit stronger would be better), the sauces were authentic (although maybe they were a bit too liquid and also need stronger flavor), and the prices and atmosphere were not bad. Tried Machu Chicken with my fiancé and we got the A Lo Pobre and Chicken Bowl, both were delicious. The steak was juicy and flavorful, and the chicken was tender with super fresh veggies. That yellow sauce on the side? Next level. The lemongrass lemonade was crisp and refreshing, just what I needed. Friendly service and top-quality food can’t wait to be back!
I really like the food here, but the pricing is just not viable for me. The chicken is good, but not stellar and I know I can walk a couple blocks and get much the same thing at the market basket rotisserie chicken.
