So glad to find this corner satellite of Machu Picchu Peruvian Restaurant finally reopened in its corner location in Union Square. The food is as incredible as in the mother shop up Somerville Avenue around the corner... with chicken the focus of the operation. The chicken, sauces, beans and rice we had were all top-notch, and we're big fans of Peruvian rotisserie chicken.
Recently got the mixed ceviche, lomo saltado, tamal, and the chicken dinner for delivery. While they weren’t the most affordable Peruvian food option in the area, they certainly had some great dishes worth trying. The mixed ceviche and lomo saltado were our favorites, and I especially liked the refreshing aftertaste of the ceviche. Tamal was also interesting, but a bit too heavy to be an appetizer. The roasted chicken was just okay, but fortunately, the sauces made them miles...
