I got appetizers and drinks with some friends here. The atmosphere is classic bar and is nice. We sat outside and the servers did not check in on us very frequently, even though it was not very busy. The appetizers were ok but nothing particularly spectacular. It's a pretty normal sports bar-like place.
Been here a few times and it’s been great.
Most recent experience, came in around 9:30 sat at the bar, with a friend he asked to try a drink dude working the bar seem to not really care. Then we ordered food, didn’t ask how I wanted it. Brought out the food didn’t bring any silverware. Burger was too dry but didn’t want to complain cause of the server. Dinner was kinda a mood killer. Will be back eventually again to give it another shot.

I didn't really know what to expect of Mike's after reading the reviews. I think perhaps people are setting their expectations too high for a place literally subtitled "food." The food was good! I had a cheeseburger and fries that held up against other spots in Davis, and it was about $4 cheaper than you'd pay at those other places. The pitchers are a great value, and there is a huge selection of cans and bottles. Maybe it's not the best place for...
