End of an Era. The last true grime in Davis Sq. Glad we're getting some more lab space and luxury condos though. Get a pint here before you can't ever again... time is ticking.
One of the last remaining dive bars, soon to be destroyed by developers. I am heart broken. Sligo's is sheer dive perfection. Bar tenders are awesome, drinks are awesome, drinks are still reasonably priced, and the decor is the perfect mix of kitsch, old school woodwork, and do what it takes to get a couple bathrooms into a tiny a space! I love it!!
It's too bad that a solid and welcoming bar is closing after 75 years 6/4/23. What a great place to hang out... Watch a game... Drink and have s great time in a very safe place...Glad I was able to experience it
