This is a great Starbucks. There are beautiful paintings all over the wall, the people are nice, and the food is amazing.
I come to this starbucks almost everyday. i've had a great experience with other workers but one worker i had the worst service i've ever had. i ordered my drink as i usually do but replace the almond milk with oat milk. i have a severe nut allergy. i watch my drink get messed up 4 times, then remade, which i don't mind. i mind that after i told the cashier i have a nut allergy i watched the girl making my drink pour almond milk into the cup and realize she made a mistake, DUMPS OUT THE CONTENTS AND REUSE THE CONTAMINATED CUP. when she messed up the drink before she changed the cup, but this last time she didn't even bother rinsing out the cup. i told another barista that i had an allergy and they remade it for me. she complains and says "i already made it 4 times". what a joke. ever since then, this particular barista has been horrible to me. i try to order my drink and she doesn't ask any leading questions or even say hello. i don't know if she's angry at me for asking her to remake my drink that one time but she was so mean. idk her name but she has orange hair. every other barista has been so nice and careful regarding my allergy. that's the only reason this has 2 stars it would have one otherwise.

To prefecit, I prefer Starbucks coffee so I am somewhat bias to the coffee. The coffee is good/consistent and way better than that watery coffee at Diesel Cafe. Baristas are usually fast and friendly, the sitting area is generally clean - mostly students. Lots of tables. However, one of the morning baristas picked her nose while handling coffee so I avoid the morning crew. The pastry case sometimes has fly/gnats during summer. It's as cold as Mount Everest in the coffee shop during the summer - very uncomfortable cold. The spare change newspaper guy outside everyday is either an annoyance or a unique cultural fixture to the neighborhood. "Good-morning-young-man' "hello-young-lady...' Have-a-nice-day (somewhat upset tone).

Place has ample seating and is clean.The lady taking our order seemed to have an English barrier? She couldn’t understand my order and was hard to understand her.We all got ice coffee of some sort and each one of our drinks were very watered down and bitter. Never had a Starbucks mess up our drinks like this before. Seems like they need better management here

As Starbucks goes it's passable but not great. Staff was friendly and great. Location was more industrial than cozy. At two points during my stay, people who were clearly not in their right mind came in and started harassing patrons. Nothing was done about it because the staff was super busy, so the whole situation was uncomfortable and confrontational while also feeling like this happens every day.

The stuff said that it would take a few minute s to brew coffee. After that, I had to wait for more than 30 min. The terrible thing was they never noticed before I asked to check my order and coffee was already ready for a long time. The stuff who got my order didn't say anything. That was the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had. Never visit again.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich toasted on the app. Went in to pickup, watched them unwrap and put the food on the counter.. he gave me a cold and obviously uncooked sandwich. I just microwaved it in my bosses office. The staff are clearly abused here.Just spend the extra few dollars at diesel cafe if you're stuck without lunch in Davis. Really frustrating
