Vera’s is SO FUN. But they should be bold and play a whole song instead of cutting off Nirvana to play 30 seconds of Wonderwall. Someone tell the DJ please.

Here for Nicky's grandma's baileys, or Kristen's crisp margarita, or Eric's special tiki bev. And shoutout to the cooks for the chicken piccata - WOW. Our home

This place... Mama Mia!! This is an awesome cocktail bar 🍸 with an Italian 🇮🇹 flare and modern entertainment. They have a seasonal menu, so my husband Michael and I weren't able to order what we were craving since the last time we were here (a little over four months ago; we live in South Bend, Indiana); however, their current menu didn't fail to impress. The Chicken 🍗 Piccata 🍝 was delightful and mouthwatering, while their signature drinks definitely wet our proverbial whistles. We ended our experience with their great canoli coffee, and tea. And the service... Jason and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming and put smiles on our faces. If you're in the Somerville area, this is a must dine. We strongly recommend it.

Tucked away underneath Union, this is a great spot for after work drinks and lounging for a casual time. The connecting room hosts a lot of weekly events so there’s something for everybody. Best thing is the cocktail menu — the Amalfi Coast tastes like a key lime pie and I have to get it every time

Seated immediately, great attentive service, tasty cocktails, and savory eats. Recommend the mozz sticks.

Vera’s is such a hidden gem. Good vibes, incredible service. Keep an eye out for Eric and Nicky, amazing bartenders with consistently upbeat anttitudes and an uncanny sense for exactly what it is you need to make your night. ✨

Female bartender with tattoos with backwards hat in the back was absolutely awful. Twisted on my foot and had to sit for ten minutes in tears while pain went down, was told that I was “drunk” and she screamed at me to get out. Friends tried to explain what happened with no success. Talked to bouncer outside who completely understood and was kind and friendly, only good part of the experience. He said he’d speak to management and recommended to go next door to avoid any further issues here. This lady completely ruined all our nights for no reason. Foots still hurting will see urgent care tomorrow 👍🏻

Something has really gone downhill here. They were out of a lot of food and not told this before ordering, and a lot of what was made is way worse than it used to be or clearly old. Would recommend avoiding this place if you want food unless something seriously changes.

Went to Vera’s just to eat the linguini and clam pasta and was told after ordering all our food that they had no pasta available 6pm on a Friday. In addition to not having any pasta, the other food we ordered did not taste good and they were simple dishes - Caesar salad, shoestring fries, and honey whipped ricotta. Caesar salad tasted old, fries seemed like they were refried after being cold and very hard, and ricotta honey dish tasted strange and was unappealing. Barely ate the food and sad we had to pay for this meal but they did comp our 2 drinks… Very disappointing because the food used to be much better.
