Great food, drinks, and atmosphere! Cocktails are creative and well balanced -- we had the Three Dollar Bill and the MUSTAAAAARD (which should not work, but does). For food we got the shrimp and broccoli rabe flatbread special, the meatballs with polenta, the garlic cheese bread, and for dessert the tiramisu. Everything was fantastic. Probably one of the best tiramisus I've ever had. This worked out to about $40/person. We will definitely be back!

We had an outstanding experience hosting a private graduation party at Veraâs! We worked with Meghan, who responded to us promptly and provided a clear outline of costs, which we thought were very fair. The appetizer and dessert platters were delicious, fresh, and plentiful, easily feeding our group of 50. The bar crew was outstanding and very attentive. The venue provides everything you need to play your own music playlist, but we also had DJ LâDuke play the last hourâshe was wonderful and was scheduled to play there later that evening. At the end of the night, the staff thoughtfully packed up the extra food in neatly labeled boxes. Many of our guests stayed well after the party ended, enjoying the lounge once it opened to the public. If youâre looking for a place to host your next gathering, look no further than Veraâs!

It's a chic underground bar in the heart of Somerville. It's Speak Easy vibes are matched with its great prices affordable apps and great atmosphere. In the front it's a cozy bar with side tables to sit for more comfortable eating. In the back is a spacious Lounge area with table games on one side lounge chairs on another a bar and a little open space to dance. This may not be the venue if you're looking for a huge dance floor, but if you're looking for Great Dance Vibes it's definitely the right space.
I had an enjoyable meal and cocktails at Vera's. The arancini was awesome - definitely recommend. We also had the chicken parm sandwich (good, not great), the butternut squash ricotta ravioli (delicious), and a caesar salad (it was pretty basic and not worth $13 in hindsight). The cocktails were lovely. Service was okay though; it took 20 minutes to receive cocktails after ordering even though it wasn't very busy and we had to flag the server down after a while to put in a food order. Maybe they were busier than it appeared. I would recommend Vera's to others because overall the food and drinks were great and the lounge atmosphere was fun and intimate.
