Yafa Bakery feels like a slice of another place and time, transported to the heart of Somerville. The food is outstanding—deeply authentic, yes, but more importantly, simply delicious. The hospitality feels familial, as if you’re being welcomed by people eager to share the recipes they love most. Sweet and savory temptations familiar and exotic all at once. As if we walked into an old friend's home, we immediately were offered a welcoming cup of the intensely delicious, albeit a bit too sweet for my taste, chai and a bite of baklava. Irresistible selection of excellent quality desserts. One that particularly stood out was the pistachio ricotta cake. Light as air, delicate offering.

One of the best cafes in the area. Very friendly staff offering ample samples of the desserts and drinks. One of the best baklavas and chai teas I've had. Easy to get carried away trying everything.
