We chose a Sunday night to do a sibling get together. Great idea!! Restaurant was busy but not overly busy. Christmas decorations were so tastefully done. Lighting is soft and relaxing. We got a great table in the back for our party of 8. There was not one complaint from anyone in our party. We have one very particular person. He said it was one of the best bolognese he has had. Service was amazing attentive but not overly busy bearing. Always made sure we had water. I like that since I drink a lot of water. Food was fresh and hot. We were in the back so we could see the open kitchen again something I love. There was an amazing number of people who made that kitchen run like a well oiled machine. We did not have time for dessert as running to another event. But appetizers meals and drink. Top notch. Will be back

The supper club at Capo was simply amazing! The food, atmosphere, and performance surpassed all of our expectations. I could not believe how incredible the performance was! The food, drinks, and dessert were amazing.

I went on a Thursday, which they do jazz night downstairs. It was phenomenal, the drinks also too. They did a dinner for two for 65$ with 1 appetizer, a meal, and a dessert. Highly recommend. The performance band was fantastic! I got a flower from the artist (:

Capo in South Boston is a neighborhood gem—Italian food at its absolute best. Chef Ciron, a proud Sicilian, clearly knows exactly what he’s doing. My personal favorite is the Wagyu beef carpaccio, elevated to brilliance with black truffle and Japanese dashi vinaigrette, a flavor combination that delivers layers of umami and proves his genius. The cacio e pepe instantly transported me back to Rome, while the sweet corn ravioli, sourced locally, reminded me of summer in Boston. Every dish feels like a story that bridges tradition and creativity.
Service is consistently on point—warm, attentive, and perfectly balanced between professional and personal. Leadership at Capo sets the standard, and you feel it in every detail of the experience. Beyond the food, the vibe is unbeatable: fun events every night that make it not just a restaurant, but a destination.
If you haven’t been yet, Capo is the kind of place you absolutely cannot miss. Bold flavors, heartfelt hospitality, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. This is South Boston’s culinary crown jewel.

Really a mixed bag. We tried to reserve for the Sinatra supper and instead booked for the main restaurant. Staff said this happens all the time... perhaps they should fix their website to address this issue instead of leaving it to persist. The place beautiful and 3 of the 4 of us had a great meal. Unfortunately, the $30 pasta dish was a minuscule portion, especially in comparison to the large portions everyone else received. The apps came quickly, but were cold. The entrees took a very long time and the waitress was largely MAI. We would have complained about the smaller than a kids meal sized portion of pasta, but she never came by until it was time for the bill. Too bad as 3/4 of us had really fantastic dishes.

We unfortunately booked our reservation incorrectly and weren’t able to be seated in the supper club for Sinatra Sunday. I spoke to Emily the host for the supper club and she went above and beyond with communication and did her best to get us a seat for the show. She managed to get us a table for the second half of the show! We are so grateful thank you Emily! <3

The Frank Sinatra show was a remarkable experience. However, our service was horrible. Our dessert took over 20 minutes to get to our table which is unacceptable. Along with the drinks taking the same amount of time, I feel like we were not valued customers in this experience. For my first time here I am quite dissatisfied with the service.

The musical experience and ambience were great, but this was unfortunately overshadowed by how long it took to get drinks (~30 min) and food took almost 45 minutes. The show was busy and very lively which was fun but dinner service took nearly 2.5 hours total. Given the price and having to make reservations I would've expected a better dinner service. There were also no concessions or credits applied to the bill even though when we got our food it was sent back due to being actually cold. Basically, go for the great show and entertainment which was awesome, but manage your expectations with service.

We went for Sinatra Sunday to listen to some nice music and enjoy a good meal. Unfortunately, we were surrounded by patrons that were more interested in talking loudly to each other, drowning out the music. A disappointing experience. Felt badly for the musicians, who were all good quality, because I am sure they could notice that at least half the audience was ignoring them.

The first complaint was the NOISE !!! i understand that is the trend now for restaurants to appear busy and popular but this was a miserable experience. This was a family dinner and it was impossible to carry on a concerstaion without yelling. It seems popular with the younger people but between the noise and other customers also yelling it was less than desirable. The food was mediocre at best, the arancini overcooked, eggplant parm had such a thick heavy layer of cheese on top that I had to use a knife to cut it. I will not be returning.

Truly great food but I pictured a much more mellow or sound sensitive band for a Saturday night supper club. I was at the farthest table from the stage and literally could not hear anyone at my table!

This was my first time at Capo after hearing great things. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I do not recommend going on a Saturday night. We were seated right away, put our drinks in then waited about 20-30 minutes for our drinks. Then we put in our food (with someone who wasn't our waitress) and waited over an hour for our food. During the wait at one point our waitress asked if we put our food in with someone else. I understand it's busy, but the worst part is, our food was ice cold when coming out. We ate it anyways due to not wanting to wait another hour for them to remake it. I told the waitress and she was apologetic and gave us cannolis and limoncello on the house. However, then when it was time to pay, I was notified by the waitress that she lost our credit card. It was about 20 minutes of chaos before they found it. The manager apologized but I asked if they could do anything for us with all the commotion. He asked if a 20% discount seemed fair and we agreed. I understand it was a Saturday, but losing a credit card is just a careless mistake and food being cold shows they do not have a great system. They need to not seat as many tables if they cannot keep up with it.
