Excellent food and service at this local Southie establishment. The vibe is cheerful and Brett the bartender was very kind. I felt welcome as a newbie to Boston. The Summer Salmon was fantastic!! I don’t understand some these reviews on here but maybe they didn’t order correctly. Best welcome so far to Boston. :-)

I’m relatively new to the neighborhood, and I’ve only visited a couple of times so far. But I felt welcomed and taken care of each time. Not to mention their great food. My friend had guinness - he said it was the most perfectly poured pints he’s ever had haha. The dessert was yummy and well presented. You know the type of place, you can go again and again, and everything is consistently good - the food, drink, service, atmosphere, and you leave feeling that you had a great time. I have a feeling that Roza Lyons will soon be my top favorite. I heart this place so much already!

The food was ok. The ABLT, Veggie quesadilla, and tater tots were ordered. The ABLT had a nice flavor and sauce to it however only came with 2 slices of bacon cut in half, so definitely needed more bacon. The veggie quesadilla was bland and disappointing. The tater tots were the best on the menu that we had. The dessert was nothing special, a brownie and cheesecake on a decorated plate. Service was good and the outdoor sitting area made up for the bland tasting food.

I enjoyed the Cobb salad with grilled chix.
It was plentiful, crisp, and fresh.

We came from Europe and were only there for the St. Patrick's Day parade, very bad experience at the restaurant, we wanted to have lunch after the parade but...they didn't even ask for my documents while my 30 year old son couldn't enter without a passport (of course they weren't with us) so we were left without lunch. And on top of that, you still have to pay $20 just to get into the restaurant.
Very disappointing

Roza’s is The Cheers of Southie, where everyone knows your name. It has a great neighborhood feel!
A great place to eat.
I look forward to the specials being posted every week.
