“I picked up some of the fried chicken today, and it was fantastic. Batter was flavorful and crisply, and the meat was perfectly moist. I usually get the grilled chicken sandwich which is the best around, but I had to try the fried chicken today. Glad I did!”

“Great all around. I’ve been going here for lunch weekly for over a year and the food is consistently good time and time again. They bake their own bread and bakery items in house and it shows. Food quality is really high compared to other places. We recently needed lunch for 60 at my workplace. It was short notice but they made it easy and had all the food ready for me to pick up on time. I couldn’t believe they pulles it off so fast. Great staff too. Always happy and helpful!”

From start to finish, Amy — the venue coordinator — was an absolute dream to work with. She was organized, reassuring, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect for us. She went above and beyond in every possible way. At one point, I was literally about to walk down the aisle without my bouquet, and Amy stopped me, sprinted back to my room, and got it for me — talk about a lifesaver! I handed her all of my décor the day before, and she set everything up more beautifully than I could have imagined. It felt like she pulled the vision right out of my head. The food was incredible — our guests are still talking about it. Between the amazing service, the historic charm of the venue, and Amy’s unmatched dedication, our day was everything we dreamed of and more. If you’re considering Spencer Country Inn for your wedding or any event — DO IT. And make sure Amy is by your side!”

My Black & White Pizza was delicious and filling. I have been dining at the Black & White Grille for many, many years and have rarely been disappointed.”

“Just discovered this cute cafe last week & we've already been twice!! First, the place is huge in comparison to other breakfast places so even on a Saturday morning we were seated right away. Next, it's so clean & super cute inside. The food is AMAZING and super quick! Lastly, both waitresses we had were truly the best!! The breakfast crepes were INCREDIBLE.. please try them!! “I remember Charlies from Plantation St, Worcester in the early sixties and the original father who ran the diner, Charlie was in his twenties then, it was a very popular place, now it's in Spencer and still popular !”

“Thank you for a fabulous dinner! Ordered a bacon pizza tonight but have had a variety of items off their menu. Service is always excellent! We will definitely be back. Village is a great spot for take out or a quick eat in meal. Clean, friendly and delicious!”

“Subway is an expensive place to eat regardless of location, that said this location is $1-3 cheaper per sandwich than the subways in the Leicester/Worcester Walmarts. The atmosphere is always warming, from personal experience having eaten here atleast 10 times, its acceptable food, again not healthy nor cheap but that is subway as a brand it is NOT specific to this location”

“This is the best Play Place at a McDonald's in our area that I know of. There are 2 closer but this one is bigger and better maintained, totally worth the drive. I do wish they had bothered to number the tables in the play place like they have them numbered in the main dining area. I like to bring my child here if it's too hot, too cold, or bad weather outside. We usually meet friends there, let the kids play for a few hours while the parents get to hang out and chat.”

“This place has absolutely amazing food. I came down from Boston for a real estate deal and stopped in for some authentic Mediterranean food and Gyro and Souvlaki blew me off my socks. The guy to was huge, outstanding portions and the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The ambiance was clean, and I felt like I was in the comfort of my home.
