I was working in Springfield Massachusetts for a week and found the Caribbean Food Mart located at 11 Dorset St. I had the pleasure of eating the Oxtails and the Stew Chicken. The service and food was sooooo good I ate there almost everyday, and even had to go back before I left town. I have to stay it was the best Caribbean Food I have had in quite sometime. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who loves Caribbean Food and is in the Springfield area. The owner was so nice she treated me like family...

Quaint little hidden GEM off of Sumner ave in Springfield. Curry Chicken and Rice and peas were amazing. Curry Shrimp is made to order, fresh, extremely well seasoned and tasted out of this planet. Tried the Cream Cheese pound cake.... holy

I really wanted to love this food,it smelled fantastic.I went close to closing time and the owners were SO nice.But our meat was very dry, too dry to eat. I hope to return again, and the next time it won't be so late, things will hopefully be a lot fresher and I'll love it.Thank you for your genuine hospitality ❤️

The absolute best ox tail in the area!!Edit: been coming here multiple times a week for a few months l now and I have no idea why the place isnt jammed packed everytime. The food is amazing and perfectly cooked. You can taste the love in everything she makes, from the tender, flavorful big chunks of oxtail, to the slow cooked stew chicken. Everything she makes is amazing! And if you are there when she makes her homemade desserts you'll love those too!!
