Reviews for City Line Cafe

The money was worth it since we got so much from our visit. Next time I may check out the two art museums as well. Parking was close and free, which was a nice bonus. Since Main Street isn't far, there are plenty of restaurants nearby but nothing to eat inside the museums

Sorry Amy are off the mark to refer to the City Line Cafe as a "dive" bar! are not from the "hood" and just a "stop-in" in 2014! The City Line is a one-of-a-kind..a pub..a Cheers bar so-to-speak..where the folks are much, much more than casual patrons. It is a place of deep, abiding generational friendships and a place with a history, formed and fashioned, predominantly by the Irish heritage of the Hungry Hill area of full review
There is nothing quite like the feeling of actually being 'Norm' from Cheers, but this happens quickly at the City Line. The bartenders will quickly ask you if you want your usual, and the customers accept you quickly into their warm circle of friends. Discussions range all possible topics, both serious and comical. Someone I once knew said that there were more Library card holders at the City Line than any other establishment in Springfield, I believe this to be true, full review
