Can’t complain about the food and the ambience, both are really good. However the service was exceptionally bad. We were a group of 5, the server paid no attention to us as well as to what we ordered and the food ended up coming very late after multiple checkins and in disorganized manner. With the 20% gratuity fee that they charged us, we’d expect much nicer service!

What a great little place. Unique foods, wonderful service, and attractive decor. Highly recommended for the adventurous and those who love spices. The drinks were good, too. I'm gluten dairy free and had plenty of menu items to choose from.

Really good food! I usually take photos for reviews but this time we ate so quickly I didn't even get the chance. We ordered the chili momo, steamed momo, chicken sekuwa, and pork thali. All exceeded my expectations and were flavorful and well spiced. Will definitely return.

What an absolutely wonderful experience! The menu has so many interesting and delicious options! I ordered the Buffalo Chili and Chicken Johl, and the flavors were amazing and more than plenty for one person! I would highly recommend trying the other menu items, too, and worth a trip back! If you never had Nepalese cuisine before, I would make this the first place you try it!

Popped in here for lunch, and was blown away. These guys are serving some incredible food. I got a cold dish: Chicken Samay Baji. The crunchy and soft textures blended perfectly, and the spicy, cold dish was perfect for a hot day. The spices are so fantastic. I’m definitely coming back to try some more of their dishes!

Also, the ambiance is pretty cool here. I feel like the vibe at night might be really fun. I expected a “bar and grill” to be a bit messy, but everything felt super clean and organized, all while keeping a cool bar vibe.

I recently dined at Aila, a Nepali restaurant in Boston, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambience is fantastic—spacious with great lighting, which made for a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The service was also commendable, with attentive servers who were quick to respond to our needs.

As for the food, we started with buff choila and potato chop. Unfortunately, these appetizers were a bit underwhelming and lacked the “wow” factor I was hoping for. The flavors were okay, but I found myself needing to order some spicy sauce to kick things up a notch.

However, the main course truly made up for it. I ordered the veg thali for my friend, and I got to taste the aloo tama and saag (sautéed green vegetables). These dishes were perfectly seasoned and balanced, making for a satisfying meal. The dessert, yogurt, was the cherry on top—absolutely delicious and a great way to end the meal.

All in all, Aila has a lot of potential, especially with its main dishes. I’ll definitely consider returning, especially for that veg thali!

Went on a Sunday hoping to catch a brunch as the website mentions. Upon arrival, came to know no brunch and the site hasn’t been updated since long. Anyways settled on Hamal thali. Whopping $155 with an hour wait time. We decided to give it a shot hoping to catch on new and exciting taste. Food arrived and after seeing it, I was hugely disappointed. We felt there were several items that were unnecessarily repeated. Like white lassi (3), and then pink lassi (3), 2 paneer dishes with not much of a difference in taste. I expected a variation in food even though it’s small. Biryanis were simply rice cooked with chicken/vegetable.
You guys are pro’s in cooking and we expect ya’ll to raise the bar and give us something that we all can say, praise and like to come often. It’s not something that I would again wish to spend that much of money for one evening.
I wish you guys good luck and hope to take the food more seriously.
