Best Italian’s in all of New England
Absolutely amazing sandwiches. We ordered a chicken, Prosciutto and an Italian. Anthony's Italian Specialties is a popular spot for Italian subs, known for their large portions that are hard to finish in one sitting. The sandwiches are packed with high-quality meats, fresh bread, and delicious fillings. The Italian sub is a standout, with some reviewers claiming it's the best they've ever had, and it's called the home of the large Italian. The chicken parm sandwich is an absolute must-try, featuring tender, juicy chicken cutlet, rich marinara sauce, and layers of melted mozzarella and parmesan. The steak and cheese and Cadillac subs are also insanely huge and delicious. Customers have praised the quality of the food, especially the meatballs and Italian sub, which did not disappoint. The bread is fresh, often served on braided rolls, and the service is quick and friendly. Take-out options are available, making it a convenient stop. The place has an old-school feel, mostly catering to takeout, but the staff makes every visit enjoyable. Visitors often find the food to be worth the trip and highly recommend returning.
