“If you’re looking for a hidden gem that’ll blow your taste buds away, Bridges Nepali Cuisine in Winthrop, Massachusetts, is the spot to hit! This place is an absolute treasure, serving up some of the most flavorful and fresh Nepali dishes I’ve ever had the pleasure of devouring. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warmest vibes and a casual, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The menu is a love letter to Nepali cuisine, with standout dishes like their Chicken Tikka Masala that’s rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced—not too hot, just pure deliciousness. The rice bowls are a game-changer—think tender chicken, crisp veggies, and a lentil sauce that ties it all together with a burst of flavor. And don’t even get me started on the momos! Those Nepalese dumplings, paired with their tangy tomato garlic sauce, are straight-up addictive. Whether you go for the steamed or chili version, you’re in for a treat.
What makes Bridges extra special is the people behind it. The owners are incredibly friendly and passionate about their food—they’ll happily chat with you about the dishes and even let you sample things if you’re curious. It’s that personal touch that sets this place apart from the usual dining scene. Plus, they’re all about fresh ingredients and putting love into every bite, which you can totally taste.
Winthrop might not be the first place you think of for a culinary adventure, but Bridges Nepali Cuisine is proof that big flavors can thrive anywhere. It’s affordable, it’s cozy, and it’s hands-down one of the best meals you’ll find in the area. Do yourself a favor and check it out—you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. Five stars all the way!“

“We had pani puri here which was very forgettable and taste was lacking flavor. Puri were made with cheap substitute . You can buy pack of 3 puri(s) in costco for $7-8. I recommend using that and add bit more spices in pani puri. Samosa was good and appreciated the complimentary masala tea.“

“Living nearby, Kantipur has become my go-to every week for quarantine takeout. I've tried all the chicken dishes about 3 times by now and I still can't decide which is the best! But my favorite menu item is the vegetable pakora appetizer. Dip it in the chutney sauce and you'll understand. 🎁🎊“

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed. The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!“

“The owner is an incredibly nice, personable guy who does a really great job at this place. Tried the boneless tenders and they were great, sauces are flavorful and their size is decent. Fries and Onion ring sides were really good. Overall everything from calling, to picking up to enjoying the food was a great experience.
Parking: Spots along the sides of the street but hard to find sometimes. A few nearby businesses have a small handful of spots as well, but not much.“

“Great Indian/Nepali entreesThe taste is excellent here and the portions are fair for the price! Though I would say the spice levels are a bit simmered down for the American preference but this can be easily resolved if you select your spice level to be on the higher levels! All in all, this establishment makes good food and provides excellent service! Would I say this is the best Indian food around? Probably not but it does the job for your Indian cravings.4/5 at most. Nothing more“

“For all the Momo lovers in area. Tried the pan fried veggie Momo and tandoori Momos. They were indeed really good but a few suggestions for the restaurant:More Momo chutney with orders would be great and spicy chutney on side too. And as for the tandoori Momos, they felt a little raw which took away from flavor.Overall great “
