“On the 4th of July, I visited Mr. Chef's Restaurant with my friends for dinner. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the restaurant was very clean. We had a fantastic time, and I have decided that this will be my go-to spot for food in the future.“

“What happened? Are there new owners? This used to be the best Chinese Restaurant on par with China Temple in Brookline. The people at the front desk are very rude & not at all welcoming, & the take out food was terrible ( no inside dining during CIVID). I don’t mind paying their new higher prices, but do not cut back on the food quality. You have lost a long time customer.“

“Visited here based on ratings and it did not disappoint! Tried to find a weak spot with so many things on the menu but could not. Sushi was great, sauces complimented the fish without overpowering. The Ramen bowl was good, flavor was more complex than expected from Ramen. Poke bowl was great with nice with a good balance of various flavors. Service was timely and polite! Even the drinks were great. Will be back!“

“Great sushi with good flavor combos. I enjoyed all my rolls (tokyo, omori kaigan, jalapeno toro). Reasonable prices and if you spend $50 they allow you to choose a free app. They offer lunch specials. Nice surprise was that they offer fried ice cream as a dessert, and it was great. Have been searching for a replacement place for fried ice cream since my last place no longer offers and this is my new spot! Service was good.“

“I got a misconception about this little place and until I entered and got a warm welcome. I was asking to add extra chairs as I had a group of friends coming and the service was amazing. “Very accessable and right across from Popeyes at the Westgate Mall. Also near Market basket in a building next door to the mall. There is handicap parking in front of the Mall entrance but not a lot of it. Sarku is on your right as you enter the Mall. They are wide open to enter. There are booth seats and a restroom. The restroom does not have automated door but does fit a wheelchair. We get takeout usually and the meals are plentiful and tasteful. We usually order chicken on fried rice and veggies with sauce on top. Never had a problem or had to wait too long. Plenty to choose from !“

“Incredibly friendly and attentive service. The doors (there are two) are super heavy, and I couldn’t open it. Someone jumped right away to help.

I got the Japanese udon noodles and the miso soup. The soup was fishier than I remember miso being but it’s been a long time since I have had. It was hearty and hot and enjoyable.

The udon noodles were well-seasoned. The veggies were delicious. The chicken was a little fattier than I am used to but it was all yummy and the food came promptly after ordering.

My water was refilled as I drank and the check came just as I was finishing my meal, so very attentive but respectful service.

“I enjoy their lunch takeout a lot. A friend from work and I have their lunch takeout out specials frequently and highly enjoy them. The sesame chicken is so tasty. Large portions and friendly staff always keep us coming back. I recommend having lunch or dinner here for sure.“

“It was very quiet when I visited, I had been out and needed to get food and was craving Chinese food. I have many allergies, and they were very caring about what I ordered. Food was tasty and pentiful. Price was about average. Service was good.

“I used to go every week with my best friend and this is the place I take everyone who visits Massachusetts. This is my all-time favorite restaurant and there is nothing I crave more than the delicious kimchi broth. The servers are all really nice and easy to talk to. You can order as much as you like and even order seconds. It’s around 30 per person and that’s very good to me as you don’t need breakfast nor dinner because you will be so full and happy. Overall, if you are choosing somewhere to eat I would go here every time.“
