Lol it has a clock that looks like it was from Feldberg, Germany....where they make cuckoo clocks in the black forest somewhere around historical area I suppose & influenced by that. I'd like a beer back then instead but the tavern always closed???

One thing I miss more than anything about the Oliver Wight Tavern are the Sunday Brunches. My wife and I got married at OSV in 2015 and were given a voucher for a Sunday Brunch. What a delightful experience! We loved it so much we started bringing family to them every chance we got. The food was delicious and as OSV members we really felt we were getting the benefits.Sadly it seems like the Sunday Brunches at OWT are no more. I really wish/hope they bring it back in some way. It was a true gem!
The elegance and romance is warming. Beautiful place, excellent food. Absolutely love it
I went to brunch with Sana for May years with my kid and grandchildren and all the grandparents it was always so much fun.

Delish! Food is really good. Strongly recomend the buffet
Went there for the Winter Revel Ball, it was fun to dress up like people did during the time period, did not know anything about 1830's ballroom dancing, was taught every step and ended up dancing the whole night, the food was great, the prime rib and popovers was my favorite, would go back and do again!

We had a great Christmas brunch. Tons of choices, the food was good. They didn't rush our party. Cheers!
Used to be a nice place to go with the family for Sunday brunch. Now they insist you make reservations no one ever answers the phone and they don't return your phone call. For over a year I've been trying to call and get a reservation have gone there on Sundays with my family repeatedly and been told to leave because they were only taking reservations that day. This place should be shut down they cater to all the tourists and the locals can't even go and have a nice brunch. Unbelievable would give zero Stars if I could
The family gathered to celebrate a birthday and had reservations for 12:30 on the 23rd. When it came time to go the brunch 3/4 of item were empty of food and it remained that way until we left. We all wanted some roast beef and were told it wasn't ready. When it finally came out it was ice cold and you knew it had just come out of the fridge. We have been many times in the past and has been good but probably won't return We live in town and do try support local. The place was not overly busy when we were there and yet the service was lacking. We had to ask for coffee 3 times before we ever started to eat. I never try to criticize when we go out to eat as i have worked in the restaurant business but improvement is needed and a business can't make improvements if they don't know about the problems.
It seems to have gone downhill.... was great at one time
I love a good brunch and their Sunday offering did not disappoint! Excellent selection and perfectly prepared. Kids options were great, too!
