Favorite restaurant. Treat yourself to Christmas at the Wayside, or any occasion for that matter. Food is excellently prepared, waitstaff is attentive and you just can't beat the atmosphere of a large Colonial fireplace and really old hardwood floors! Highly recommend the Indian Pudding. Delightful.

The restaurant was amazing, beautiful, and full of history. The ambience was unmatched in the history surrounding it was extensive. Really recommend talking to the front desk and getting the self guided walking tour. Staff were excellent and I’m very happy I found this restaurant. The food was really subpar and for the over $200 pirice tage for 3 people you would expect more. Beautiful, peaceful, and historic! I felt a meaningful connection to America's 250th, enjoyed great food and friendly service, like spending the night immersed in history.
